Photography related: background to go with these outfits

I usually get the kids matching outfits from Gymbo and take their pics for the Christmas card.

The dresses this year are nice, and I'm thinking of going with the black/white dress instead of one with red.

What colour background do you think would work? Black? White? or something else, maybe deep red? I'd love to hear opinions!

I think dark red would be a beautiful contrast to that dress.

I agree dark red or if you wanted to go with non Christmas colors I would totally hot pink it.
Baby Blue would be pretty too...Lots of blue in Christmas these days.

I ordered my 3 little ones the plaid dress earlier this weekend and I got the coat for Cam b/c it's just too adorable...

We did the plaid last year, and always do the red, so I thought this would be nice for a change. Thanks for your opinions ladies!

A deep red would be nice, or a dark, charcoal grey would be really pretty too and would help set the dresses off. White might be too bright, and the dresses might blend into a black BG too much.

Yea the traditional christmasy colors of deep reds and greens will look great with those dresses :)

My first thought was a dark hot pink. I think that would make for a cool holiday card. But if you're going for something more traditional, deep red or green.

Red would be fabulous! Otherwise I think white wouldbe better than black simply so you could see the detail in the dress (I think the black skirt would blend in with a black background). These dresses would also look great in an outdoor shot with some nice evergreens behind them, or some snow!!! i love outdoor shots.

P.S. that dress is too cute!!! I need a daughter just so i can satisfy my addiction to gymbo girls clothing! Seriously, when I get the e-mail that they have released a new collection I ALWAYS check out the girls stuff before shopping for DS because I love it so much! lol
