What is one thing you can't do that you wish you could make into a career?

For me it would be dance.
I would love to be a choreographer but I can't dance. Not the hip kind anyway.
I can do the running man and stuff (ya know that gnarly kind of dancing we did as we listened to NKOTB, LMAO!) but I can't REALLY dance.
I wanna choreograph music videos for the hottest artists, then go to swing clubs with my SO on the weekend and clear the floor, then maybe do a little ballroom on Sunday night.

So what's something that you just can't do that you would love to make a career of?
 
Paint! I've always wanted to be an artist! But, the closest I come to an artist, is a "layout artist" aka digital scrapbooker! lol
 
well I would love to be one of those people who gets to travel to all kinds of exotic places to photograph nature and wildlife. I think Im an ok photographer but there is defenitely room for improvement but I know that is just never gonna happen for me.
 
I've always wanted to produce/direct music videos. For so many years, sometimes when I hear a song come on I can picture how the video should look. The closest I've come to it is designing lighting for local theater productions...

Deb - I was just thinking last night as I was going through Bark! magazine, I wish I could paint like some of those advertisers - take a photo of a dog (or cat) and do a whimsical or funky art painting from it.

We should do business in another life. I'll choreograph the vids and you can shoot them. LOL
 
This really made me think Many, great question!

I would have to say that I would love to be a politician. I have an insane fascination with history and politics in general... but I cannot speak in public, I can't strike up a conversation with strangers, and I cannot stand business suit! LOL!
 
Oh yeah, I'd love to be a singer. I'm crap at singing, I really suck at it yet I sing with the kids in my class all the time. They do give me these look though :blink: :unsure: :thumbdown: :mad:

However, I wouldn't want to travel or kiss other men--or be away from my family too much. But yeah, I think it'd be so much fun!
 
Umm.... Be a Doctor, A pediatrician, preferably to work in the NICU.. :)
I will have to settle at being a nurse though ( my RL goal) because 9-10 years of school would KILL me, and I'd do no good to anyone as a dead Dr. :glare:

I might feel differently about this, then lots of you since I am a single mom... LOL!!

But I am happy to travel to alot of places, kissing many different movie star men.... Sounds GREAT to me!! :p
 
I would have loved to major in music and played french horn for either the Boston Pops or for an orchestra that does music for movies. I get shivers every time I hear dramatic music featuring the french horn. Takes me back to my high school band geek days!! :-)
 
I'd love to the be keyboard player for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and go on tour. :) I do play the piano, but don't have an "in". LOL
 
definately be the lead singer of a rock band. except i cant sing. i cant play guitar. and the thought of standing on a stage in front of a bunch of people makes me want to pee my pants a little. lol. i just wanna open for bon jovi. lol
 
one of those review people who get all kinds of free stuff! Free vacations and free meals... must be tough. LOL
 
I want to be a fighter pilot. No kidding either LOL. I always wanted to be one when I was a kid, but my eyes were too bad, I've had glasses since age 8. So that sucked, by the time I got in high school and could consider the Armed Forces, I was already eliminated because of my eyes. However, back then, laser eye surgery was not even heard of, never mind popular enough for regular folks like my parents to afford.

Now, I'm just too old and fat LOL

Definitely a K-9 cop. I can handle a gun, drive the heck out of a car, have taken a few self defense classes, but would never be able to keep up with those dogs or chase somebody on foot. I walk around the block a few times, not run miles. LOL It's the ultimate position for me because I can't stand the bad guys and I love animals.

Photographer. I'm ok at it I guess, but just don't know the technical stuff or what in the world to buy to even start the business. It's a dream of mine that might be within reach but hard to know where to get started.

I would really love to be a midwife, theres just something about the miracle of birth that is so beyond magical and I just wish there was a way to be around that all the time!
 
professional traveling photographer for somebody like national geographic! but probably not realisti with a family...so actually I would LOVE to own my own photography studio...my goal when I retire!!!:thumbup:

I think it would be fun to be famous! I have daydreams where I am being interviewed by Conan O'Brien... sometimes I am a HOT country singer and sometimes I am an actress... HOT of course! lol! Totally not me! Is it wierd that in my daydreams I am always blonde? I am an absolutely HORRID singer and can't remember my name half the time... how the heck would i remember the lines to a movie? And I DEFINITELY couldn't go the model route... not unless I have some major reconstructive work done! rofl!

Or scrapbook good enough that I can work for one of the magazines and work from home and go to all the awesome s/b shows and stuff!
 
I would love to be paid to be a mom *lol* Getting paid for a talent I have.. uuum, hmmmm.. gosh, I don't know. I'll think on it :confused:
 
Either a dancer, like hiphop or any other modern ones. Or a music video editor :) I LOVE going to Youtube and checking out all my favorite music videos and those fan-made videos of my favorite TV series :D
 
Astronaut.

Definitely an astronaut. It was my dream job growing up, but my math skills stunk, and you gotta know math. I continue the fascination now...and only wish I could've done it.
 
When I was a girl I dreamed of being a Ballerina but then I got too tall.

I'm in love with History, so it would be so awesome to travel the world and study the history & culture of different areas.
 
You are all going to think I am a freak but a barmaid, a waitress or cashier. I have done all those jobs before I got sick and I loved them. The conversations with people, the noise, I guess the feeling useful. But that is about as likely to happen as pigs are to fly. Wow that's even a depressing post to me :mellow: Hugs Crystal xx
 
I have lots of things i'd like to be.

A photographer! I love taking pictures but i have a lot to learn yet with my Rebel.
Paint. I have always been able to draw, but i can't paint. they are apparently two different talents, lol. My aunt lives in florida and she paints murals on peoples walls in their homes. i'm so jealous, lol.
Sing. I love to, but realllllly suck, lol.
Something to do with traveling too. maybe traveling and taking photos of far off places for National Geographic or something.
