Why is it when....

...I finally have a weekend when we're not traveling and have no other committments, and I can go see a movie (my favorite past time), there's not a thing in the theaters I want to see?! *sigh*

I think it's called Murphys Law!!!! Like when you want some time to your self...no one is around and you can't find anything to do. Or money to go buy new clothes and nothing looks cute. Sorry! :)

what? you don't want to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua? DD has been begging to see that for weeks now.

Um..Mimi - NO!

Robin - it was on the top of my list, til I went to read reviews and more synopsis of the movies. The gang style violence against women in the quarantine areas is enough to turn me off the movie. I don't do that stuff. :(

I'm still debating between Fireproof and Eagle Eye. Even though there's nothign I *really* want to see, I'm not losing the chance to go out LOLOL. I'm not a shopper unless it's for books, and I'm booked out at the moment.

My women's group at church all saw Fireproof and LOVVVVVVVVVVVED it!! It's come highly recommended to me so I'm sure it's a great movie.

I've heard amazing things about Fireproof and I really want to see it. I think a bunch of us moms from church are going to go see it this week maybe.
DH and I also want to go see Eagle Eye. I love Shia LeBouf (minus his DUI incident) and the plot is right up our alley. We love suspense/action type movies.

I'm actually reading the novelization of Fireproof right now. It's a great story. I wish we'd been able to keep DH's cousin here with the kids longer today, we'd have gone to see the movie for sure!

My husband and I *finally* have a date night tonight, my parents and brother are coming over to watch the kids, and I agree... NOTHING in theatres. :( So we're going to a nice restauarant instead. :) I might see Fireproof, but I'd be more likely to rent it than see it in theatres!

I can't even remember the last time I went to a movie so even if there were nothing to see I wouldn't know! LOL!

I hope you have fun whatever you do Darcy!

I ended up going to see Fireproof..and was the only single person in the theater LOLOLOL.

It definitely is good. And I loved staying through the credits :) I do wish I'd been able to see it with Russ, but he's already said he wants to see it when we can Netflix it or the next time the boys and I are at my grandmother's (though I seriously don't see him going to see it alone).

It will be interesting to see the fireproofyourmarriage book when it comes out in the spring.
