Sweet Rewards question

I have a quick question! I have my cart loaded up, ready to check out, but lots of my stuff happens to be found in the Penny Candy section, where its already discounted. How does Sweet Rewards work with that?
 
My understanding is that Penny Candy is OK with the coupon... it was the Going Going Gone sale a little bit ago that you couldn't use the coupon on. :)
