This past weekend my dad also gave me a HUGE box of carrots and I finally got around to preparing them for freezing last night. I spent 4 hours washing, peeling, slicing and blanching carrots. Here are my spoils...........

Now I have some carrots to go with that turkey :D :D

Tonight we are doing a bushel of tomatoes (into sauce YUMMY) and I also have a peck of pears to get in the freezer!!! Crap I'm tired just thinking of it!!!!
 
Look at you go! :) I canned peaches one year, and then the next I just cut them and put them in a freezer bag, lol...then I never did it again. :p

Eve, I don't hate them cooked but I prefer them raw. My DS is like that with all veggies, hates them cooked, will eat anything raw but mushrooms and asparagus.
