OMGosh I wish I had my camera!!

My husband and I went to the mall the other day and while we were there I had to go to the Dollar Tree and pick up a few things. I really wish I had my camera with me because I saw something I just do not think anyone would believe they sold without seeing it. PREGNANCY TESTS!!! Now maybe it is just me but I just dont think a pregnancy test is something I would want to skimp on LOL.
 
Dude I hear ya! I saw one last time we went to dollar tree too...had to look twice to make sure I wasn't imagining things. Now if they get into the business of EHD's, camera lenses and such, I'll be their biggest fan!
 
Actually I've heard the DT pregnancy tests are supposed to be pretty accurate for only being a buck! I've heard many people swear by them, I was just never brave enough to try them out lol! Thank goodness I don't need to worry about that anymore though!
 
I was just so surprised they had them. They might actually work but I just dont know many people who would be looking to buy them there. I buy little stocking stuffers and some cleaners there and my husband gets the after shower powder stuff there....thats about it
 
Omg, I bought a ton of them when I was preggo with Phin, because my DH was 400 miles away on a job interview, so I wanted to be sure. I asked my ob/gyn about them and she said they're really accurate because the kind you buy at the dollar store is the kind the clinics use. (the free health clinics, not the ob office, obviously)
So, I stocked up cuz I couldn't believe I was pregnant. (I was on the mini pill and breastfeeding at the time) I say, "Yes, the dollar store preggo tests are fine, they just require a little more attention than the digi ones." ;)
 
Lots of ladies on my mommy board have used them. At my first OB appt. when I was preggo they gave me a pee test to confirm and couldn't help but notice it was the EXACT same test they have at the dollar store! :D

But you don't pee on a stick. The ones I get are old school tests where you use a cup.

And yes, I am a DT PGT buyer. Many many many of them.
 
Im actually kinda surprised so many buy them. guess it just goes to show that just because they are a buck doesnt mean they arent good. With all the ads for the big name brands they make it seem like anything less is unreliable. I cant remember which test I bought with my daughter. I know it was alot more complicated then peeing on a stick and it came back negative the first time which was most likely user error. If I was still able to get pregnant I would choose something based on how easy and foolproof it is though. One step anytime of day is best I think LOL
 
haha They have carried those for a long time. I remember my friends buying them there in HS (so like 5 years ago)! LMAO! Actually though, I know alot of women who have told me that they are actually the most sensitive tests you can get. In my online birthday club on BZ most of the women swear by them.

haha after months of getting negitives I finally got a digital test so there was no way i could screw it up or misead the test. I was 5 months along before finally getting an actual positive test!!!

I prefer the cup ones anyway. Less to aim for, LMAO! honestly, even with the regular ones I peed in a cup then dipped it in (TMI, sorry) lol
 
I buy them because deep down I know it will be a negative but I need the peace of mind. I have PCOS and can't be on BC. So to satisfy my need to test I buy the cheap ones.

If I actually thought it was a possibility I would go for the sophisticated test.
 
I have heard a lot of people say their tests are great. My dh bought me a Wal-Mart brand one when we were trying and I remember getting ticked off that he would buy a generic pregnancy test though. lol
 
I've used them before. My best friend has had 4 babies & everytime she found out she was pregnant was w/a dollar tree pregnancy test!
 
When I was undergoing IVF the woman on the infertility forums praised God for these cheapo PG tests! When all you want to see is a positive pregnancy test you could buy stock in these little suckers. In the infertility world we call them the EVIL PEE STICKS as most couldn't resist them a day or two before a blood test as they wanted to know if we were pregnant or not. I didn't get sucked into this but I know so many that did! And believe it or not I heard more woman than not say they were accurate!
