My company is downsizing a bit in my dept (I work in investment banking..nobody is investing right now lol)..I haven't gone back to work but for about 6 weeks since Teaghan was born..been on a leave of absence and pretty sure I didn't want to return. Anyways, they offered a package of sorts (basically a portion of my salary, my vacation and sick days paid to me, and insurance for 90 days) if we wanted to voluntarily leave or chance not being laid off. I think I made out well..lol since I had been toying with quitting anyways. I just feel like with 2 little ones at home..I'm just enjoying it way too much to spend my days in the office. My DH thankfully is supportive and makes decent $$$...we just won't be able to save as much as we used to (or spend haha) but that's ok..in the long run it's more than worth it
