SUAS

I did this too but found it really difficult because at the time I didnt have as big of a stash as I do now and it was hard to only use items included in the list of designers. Id probably do it again though
 
Stand Up And Scrap, a scrapping contest with the proceeds benefitting the environment.... I participated but I learned quickly that I get too bummed when I don't do well and my mojo is sucked away. It was the first and only contest I've ever done and I didn't "do well" but atleast I finished. It was a great experience though and the only one I'd ever consider doing again.

What reminded me of it is that Blog Action Day is coming up this week and I remember last yeard during SUAS, BAD came up and the topic of last year's BAD was 'going green' as well. This year's topic for BAD is poverty and it got me to wondering if SSD would do another SUAS, and if they did, what would the cause be this time...different or the same :)
 
I really enjoyed that contest last year as well....I don;t think I ever acquired any points at all, but it really made me think outside of the box! and Lena all of your LO's were BEAUTIFUL!!!! you were one of the few people that I recognized~
 
Hey Lena!

It was soooo much work last year so we decided not to do it in the same time frame (Oct/Nov) this year. I'm not positive we will be doing it again for sure but we are considering it for early 2009!! I'll be sure to let everyone know if LDD and SSD decide to move forward with it - thanks for asking!

that would be so cool to have it in the winter...when everyone's home and bored and snowed in anyway (well those of us here in Ohio anyway). I hope we end up having it again :)
