One that just really gets to you? I remember going to see Seven at the theater and for days afterward just couldn't get rid of the creepy feeling it gave me...it still creeps me out if I watch it...

Jeepers Creepers really creeps me out. But we recently saw "Vacancy" and I am not so sure that I want to stay in a hotel ever again.

my little sisters talked me into watching 'wrong turn' 5 years ago or so and i literally almost poo'd myself. i don't 'do' scary movies. before that scream was the scariest i had ever seen. LOL!

I don't do those gross movies like all those Saw movies in recent years...nope not gonna watch that..but I LOVE something that will just spook me out :)

Any zombie movie! I love scary movies and I even like to watch zombie movies too but I stay absolutely freaked out for days after I watch one. The concept of zombies is deeply disturbing to me.

I absolutely can not watch any of those new tortue movies (like Saw and Hostel). I can't stand the thought of them let alone to watch them!

I just watched Vacancy this morning and was pleasantly surprised! Very intense and suspenseful. Just the right amount of scary without all the gore most horror films have.

I have flashes of Hostel in my head every now and again (always while I'm doing dishes for some reason) and I watched that movie like 2 years ago or something! House of 1000 Corpses and The Grudge got into my head as well. I love those types of movies though LOL

The Shining, even after all these years, and having seen it several times. That movie is just CREEPY. Seven was creepy also.

I haven't watched any in ages. I turned into a wimp. :D

"Seven" was probably the last scary movie I watched - I had to take Tums during it and decided right then that I wasn't wasting any more time watching movies that made me take Tums! LOL

But I've watched plenty of movies that I think are too gory and violent and they just haunt me. I try to close my eyes and ears when I know something is coming, but sometimes that doesn't work.

I do not do scary movies that well but I guess The Hills Have Eyes or any of the Saw movies. Ohhh those really freak me out. Just the thought of having to cut my own foot or hand off...eeekkk. Jeepers Creepers is really a weird movie and the rumors beind the movie are to much for me. Ummm another bad one was Bloody Christmas or something like that.

I can watch the first two Saw movies but after that I can't handle them. Not because of the scary factor but because some of those little challenge dealies he puts them through is just so...ICK and mind blowing. I hate movies that mess with your head like that.
But as far as scary...Ghost Hunters. Hands down my favorite show but there were a few recently that scared the crap out of me. EVP's are the worst.
There was a case recently where the family was seeing a little boy with black eyes and black all around it's mouth with long wiggly arms. I mean...PICTURE THAT!
I keep getting afraid that this boy with black eyes and black all around his mouth with wiggly arms is going to be standing in my hallway when I go in there.
Seriously, I'm getting creeped out talking about it.

Mine have been listed - The Hills Have Eyes, Wrong Turn -- For Wrong Turn, I made my hubby sit on one side of me and BIL on the other - I was terrified!

Well, I am a Horror Afficionado... lol... I go to all of the conventions that come through town and whatnot... I adore horror films, it's my favorite genre.

I'd have to say the Japanese film Audition, is probably the highest on my list.

Among my favorites are the American version of The Ring, Last House on the Left, House of 1000 Corpses, the original 1973 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Others, Alien, The Grudge, Vacancy, the original The Hills Have Eyes, The Exorcist III, Sleepaway Camp still scares the pants off me (one of my first horror movies, and I was scared for weeks), the first 10 minutes of When A Stranger Calls makes me sleep with the lights on, The Blair Witch Project, I have pictures of me with the original survivor of Friday the 13th... I should scan those! lol
I seriously seriously love horror movies. I second The Shining, but since I read It, the made for tv movie was laughable in comparison.
Oh! The Orphanage and Devil's Backbone are good for our Spanish speakers. ;) I loved them.

Oh also not really horror but really freaked me out was I SPit On Your Grave. Ughhh the first part of that movie was just really terrible to see. Same thing with The Hills Have Eyes. Ive seen alot of horror movies but now I cannot remember them. FOr my daughter is anything with clowns she is terrified of clowns. So It was not a good movie for her. I think Pennywise is what made her afraid of clowns to begin with

I was like 8 or 9 when I watch Poltergeist...at my grandparents 100+ year old farm house. I felt sick because I was scared so my mom sent me to bed upstairs...where it was dark and creepy...with my 4 year old brother...yeah, that helped me not be scared anymore. :D

I remember this TV movie called Don't Go To Sleep and I must've watched it around a time we went to Ikea because I associate the 2 now. Gosh, that came out when I was 6...why was I allowed to watch that when I was 6??

for a while when he was investing with my Dad's firm he thought about being a stock broker himself. i guess scary movies are his destiny...LOL!

I don't do scary anymore but when I was in HS I LOVED Freddy Kruger movies...so fun to watch in the dark with a bunch of friends...they got old after the 2nd one so I kinda gave up....Oh Ammityville (sp?) Horror was one of my favorite books and I love the original movie too!!!

I'm such a wimp with scary movies, though I have seen a few because DH is SUCH a fan! Scariest for me would be the Japanese version of The Ring--after I watched it I couldn't bear to have a pail of water in the bathroom when I showered

lol! my hubby goes with my sisters. they love them too so they always call them sister/brother in law dates. :D he's known both of them since they were 13 and 7 so they really get along. it's nice that i don't have to even think about going with!

I wanted to go see Quarantine last weekend but we ended up going to see my brother and SIL instead. I also want to see the Happening.

Shutter and the Ruins are 2 that I've seen recently and liked. I love horror/scary/suspense movies, but when I was pregnant with DD2 I couldn't watch them at all. I had to wait until after she was born to see the Grudge. LOL

The Ring definitely doesit for me...I remember I watched it on PPV one night while laying in bed with Jay sleeping beside me and I spent the rest of the night just laying there holding onto him creeped out by the darkness.
