I'm in trouble. My baby (9 months) just figured out on Friday how to stand up in her crib. So we lowered it way down, hoping that would end it if she couldn't reach the top of the rail. Nope. She can still do it. And every nap time (like right now), she's standing in her crib, crying cause she's stuck. So I lay her down, walk away, and she pops up like a jack in the box (baby in the crib??). Up, down, up, down, up, down, until she's so exhausted from all that crying that she falls asleep, lol.

Its gonna be a long long day. :)
 
Aw that's so cute! I remember when DS started doing that...be watchful of when she starts to actually climb out though...the very first time DS climbed out of his crib he fell and fractured his arm! He was older though so I'm sure you don't have to worry about that yet...he was in a little cast for 4 weeks though..it was torture for us both. The day after that I bought a crib tent...probably THE BEST money purchase I ever made for him as a baby b/c I could zip him up and no worries about him falling again.

Elle never did that... but then again she napped in my bed, until she was around 11 months :o So I guess that wasnt an issue for us..

The DAY she starts crawling out of her crib, its getting disassembled and turned into a toddler bed... :D :D
 
Here's a pic of the tent..it is AWESOME! Very secure..DS stayed in his crib until right before he turned 3 with this baby on there lol...he loved it..we called it his fort :) Believe me...it's so much better than a broken arm.

uh oh! I dont remember my son getting up but not back down...

Ryleigh fell out of her crib ONCE..she wasn't brave enough to try it again. When we moved to this house she wasn't quite two..and since we had another baby on the way, we moved her to a toddler bed...That tent looks awesome! I might get one with Teaghan lol..she's a lil monkey already
