Magazine Submissions??

For curiosity's sake, where does one submit LO's for magazines, apart from Digital Artist Magazine?
Ive seen so many different types of "Out for Publication" signs on LO's but they never say by whom, so I was just wonderin what else was out there.

there was a site that I saw that had places to submit and all the latest requests. I know there are several digital mags and one digital magazine that is actually printed.

There's Bella Scraps Magazine. That's the only other one I know of.

I've had at least 5 pages published in Bella Scraps and 2 in DAM...not sure who else, besides the real scrapping magazines. Check out Just Digital Calls and it would give you some calls that are on right now.

When I was a paper scrapper, I used to get published fairly regularly in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc, Paperkuts, Scrapbook Trends, and Memory Makers. Some of them have forms on their site to fill out for submissions, and others accept email submissions. I haven't submitted since I went digital, but I know that they also publish digital layouts.

You can check out the Pub Calls blog for a list of mags that accept submissions as well as a list of the upcoming themes that they are looking for. It's different submitting to those mags though because they work about 6 months in advance, so they're probably already calling for spring layouts.

You should definitely submit though! It's a total rush getting the call, and then seeing your stuff in print!
