Here at SSD?

Just wondering. I got my newsletter from the Shabby Pickle, and they're talking about a big celebration there. I know there will be one here, just trying to figure out how much money to save, blah blah. :D

Also, anyone want to take bets on whether or not new girls will be joining SSD?

I'm thinking they'll add at least 2 new designers.
 
Haha..well the great thing about SSD is that we don't have sales often, and because of that..they are special..and a secret. :)

Dude, if there are more designers, shouldn't that mean more babes? I'll go ahead and volunteer myself now. :)
 
Secret goings on at the Sweet Shoppe? Fun! (Crossing fingers that any events or chats are announced ahead of time for those of us who have to plan family committments around them in order to participate.)

yah I would loveeeeeeeeeeeeee a schedule or something. LOL Just so I know the times my children are not allowed to ask for food or things.
 
I think it's your constitutional right to take a mommy vacay that weekend so you can enjoy the festivities.

Before I discovered digi, my BIG deal every summer was the Great American Scrapbook Convention in a neighboring town. I went like 7 years in a row. It was a huge deal, and my husband even took of work for me to just enjoy it (shopping on Thursday was so much better than fighting the crowds on the weekend). I also always spent tons of money, but it was budgeted for every year. I just think of NSD and DSD the same kind of way. It's "me" time!

I am prolly not gonna be around for much of the day cause DH will be arriving home from Japan that day and I gotta get him from the airport :thumbdown: Does he not realize what day it is for pete's sake!!!!!

Last year I flew to Grand Rapids from Southern California to attend the digital crops at GASC. :)
 
Woot can't wait!!! LOTS of fun stuff...If you were around for DSD or NSD last year you know how fun they are!
 
I'm SO excited!! Tell me.. what kind of hours should I be blocking for the 1st?? I need to make sure I am completely kidlet free and have plenty of peanut m&m's and iced tea to last me. *note to self.. find soft cushion to sit on to keep bum from getting sore*:w00t:
 
Yes, can someone tell me what time is the best time to be here? I'll probably have to drive over to my brother's place and see if I can leave the kids with someone. Or just give me a little hint, should I plan for an all day thing? I don't wanna miss anything!!! :D
 
manda will be giving a tutorial on how to be a 'slutty yet classy' southern belle and i will be hosting a 'who can hijack more threads than lizzy' contest. among other various contest/challenges/etc.

some of the days topics will include:
