You can't see it, but I had HUGE balloons stuffed in my tank top and long hot pink finger nails :)

Another thing a group of friends and I have done is The Village People, The Pink Ladies (Grease), a 1970's bowling team.

That is so cool Amy.....DH would do it but he will be in Japan so I am going solo on this one!!!!

Bwwwahahahahahahaha!!! Amy!! That is BRILLAINT!!

Jeff and I went as Drew and Mimi (from The Drew Carey Show) one year. We're both bigger people so it worked.

Last year I saw an adorable bigger couple at Boo at the Zoo dressed as Shrek and Fiona which I thought was adorable.

My sister and her three friends go to a mega halloween party every year and their costumes are always extreme. Last year they were the band, Kiss. It was totally hot. Year before that they were the Fanta girls. One year they were all evil Disney Villans.

My boys are going as Mario and Luigi and I think it would be a super-cute couple costume. And easy to do, too!

I'm being a pirate this year so I am wearing a black corset, a red tutu (that I am making myself and that will cost less than $5! Whooo hoo lol), black high heeled boots, and a red bandana on my hair. I think I am going to try to make puffy white arm "sleeves" too by sewing elastic on the top and bottom of white tee-shirt sleeves that I will cut off of the actual shirt so they are just the sleeves, KWIM?

Last year I was a ladybug. I got the wings and antennae (sp?) in a set in the kids section and then ironed black fabric circles onto a red top and wore a black skirt and red knee socks with black polkadots and red ballet shoes. It was cheap, easy, and cute.

Last year my friend was Dora the Explorer and everyone loves her costume! Orange shorts, pink tee shirt, yellow ankle socks, and white shoes. Then she borrowed her niece's backpack/map and carried a stuffed monkey. I will see if I can find the pictures, it worked out great and everyone knew exactly who she was supposed to be. It helped that my friend is tan and has short, dark hair too.

I went as Fiona on her wedding day one year. I found the dress at Torrid (white velvet with an empire waist). I wore a crown and took a shrek headband chopped off the ears and fit them into the crown. I braided my hair too.

I also painted my face a lovely shade of green. ;)

We haven't dressed up in years...the last time we dressed up we were Captain Hook and Tinkerbell.

Yes, I was Tinkerbell, and no...there are no surviving pictures.

My sister runs a daycare, and last year, she dressed up as Hannah Montana...just wearing a long blond wig and some um..."fancy" LOL...clothes...everyone knew who she was supposed to be.

Amy, LOL!

DH and I have gone as bikers - went to our local Harley store and got t-shirts, etc. It was fun! I blacked my eye...

This year I think we might be Palin and McCain! :)

My DH and I went as Bill & Monica (stain on the dress and all) a couple of years ago...

We don't dress up anymore... :(

I was a scarecrow once ... I wore a flannel shirt with bib overalls, and put rafia in the front pocket ... bandana in my hair ... used black eye-liner pencil to draw a stitched smile on and a black nose. :)

Great ideas so far.....keep them comin!!! I am getting ansty cause I want to get it figured out so I can find everything. I was seriously thinking of Hannah Montana and also Mimi (from Drew Carey) but still up for more ideas!!

Well, I didn't dress up for the twins first halloween but then their 2nd halloween my cousin threw a halloween party at her mom's house soooo, we made costumes for her, me and the twins and did Alice in Wonderland. For some reason all my pictures of that night turned out crappy but...

My DD was Alice:
