You know why I hate using La's stuff?

Because I can NEVER delete it.

Normally I like to use a kit once, and as long as I use the stuff I really like, I delete the kit from my hard drive. {after backing it up to my ehd first, of course}

But with Lauren's kits, even after I use them TWICE, I still can't bring myself to delete them. They're always full of such useful stuff in such nice colors, but I really need the space for MORE of Lauren's kits...

Maybe I should just get a thumb drive and put all of La's kits on it. It'd have to be a big one, though.

I love her stuff too but I would neveer delete anything from my harddrive. I plan on getting an EHD but id still keep it on my harddrive and I back up on DVD too and will get Mozy online as soon as I can affford it

Oh gosh Kellie, you made me so happy learning I am not the only one that deletes kits after I used it LOL. And you are right with La's kits too - I don't delete most of the kits I get from her :) I think I have used parts of Rooty Tooty more times than I can count LOL

Hahaha omg that's funny seeing the reactions! LOL!

I delete from my HD, but I have 2 EHD's and I randomly burn cds. So, not such a big deal to delete.

I only delete stuff I've bought after many moons and I realize I'll NEVER use it again.

Seriously, folks, DELETE. The FlyLady says you should not keep things around that make you feel guilty, so when you see that kit that was only a dollar you just couldn't resist but have absolutely NO desire to scrap with...DELETE IT. You will feel SO much better. Or once you use a kit, save the things you like to a special folder {I call mine, get ready for this..."Things I Like"} and delete the rest of it. At the rate we all accumulate new kits, there's no reason to be cluttering up your computer with stuff you're never gonna use again.

Just don't delete La's stuff, because you will so use it again.

That's kinda how I am with Kay's kits. I never seem to be able to use all the pieces I want to on the first one...sometimes two..layouts, so I save and save and save hers. Actually I have never been able to completely get rid of a SSD item at all. They are all snuggly on EHD's or DVDs, or both in most cases, lol

I started purging last night, I got 17 GB GONE. And I am not finished doing like 4 stores LOLOLOL.

After I go through it, I'm going to go through it again. I need to, my hard drive does not need kits from a year ago that I never used, nor will use, kwim?

The delete word always floors me also (except when applied to freebies that I know I am never gonna use). BUT I have a 500GB IHD and only own about 9 kits (not including Quarterly assortments) :D

LOL before yesterday I had 154 GB in scrap supplies alone, never mind pics, and other misc. junk. I have a 500 GB hard drive, and 500 GB EHD. But I like things neat and tidy, and my scrap folders were starting to look like one giant mess. I couldn't find what I wanted, so last night when I started scrapping, I got so annoyed, I decided to finally do a big purge. This was my first big purge since I started scrapping in June 2007, and I'm a big shopper LOL

I started tossing kits I dont use often or at all in a folder in hopes of some day deleting them, but I have the room so for now they stay

but OMG I couldnt possibly delete my SSD stuff, way too cute and I use them over and over. I love getting 2 completely diff themes from the same kit.
