Preggers.....Check-in! :)

Hey ladies- Because there are so many of us hanging out here, I thought it might be nice to do a little check-in to see how everyone is doing- how are you feeling? What's new, exciting, on your mind? Let's dish!

Things have been going really good here, no sickness (aside from that initial lack of appetite and exhaustion in my first trimester)! I'm been a little dizzy, blood pressure has been low, hopefully not too low, we'll see next week at my next appointment- it's the 'BIG' one...finding out the gender if all goes as planned. :) I'm still wearing normal clothes when I can, up 2 lbs., but maternity pants are much more comfy, just too big right now. This baby sure is be-boppin' today...ALL day I've had flutters and little popcorn pops! I've felt a few before, but today's the first time it's been so continuous- fun stuff. :)

Awww that's so exciting to hear about how your pregnancy is going, Teresa!! I've got my fingers crossed that you get to find out the gender of the little bean next week!! YAY!! How fun that you have an active little one too!!

My little one has been VERY active lately. Libby was never this active. Claire is everywhere all at once, lol!! I've been feeling really good lately, aside from being really tired and stuff. I have just over 6 weeks till this little lady is supposed to make her grand entrance!! :) SO excited about that - can't believe this pregnancy has been just flying on by the way it has!! My official weight gain for this pregnancy is 2 pounds. Isn't that nuts??? I gained a total of 40 with Libby, so this is very different for me!! She's measuring exactly where she should be, so that's all that matters to me :)

Can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing too!! :)

Those early movements are so exciting! And wow, 2 lbs is impressive, Laurie! I'm 31 weeks now and starting to do a lot more to get ready. I have accessories for the baby's room, and this weekend we're picking paint colors. Still working on a name, but at least we now have a list of possibilities. Over the next few weeks we'll get the few things we need (toiletries, a new car seat, and a few additional clothes) so that we're 'ready' by week 35 or so.

Physically I've been beyond exhausted, but it's mostly because we just transitioned DS2 to a bed and he's not letting me get much sleep. I'm also starting to worry about plans for when I go into labor. My mother is coming down to help with my boys, but if I go into labor early like I did with DS2 she won't be here yet and someone else will need to watch them for 5-10 hours until she can get here. People are so busy with travel, guests, etc. during the Christmas season that I'm getting nervous about it. (Fingers crossed that this baby holds on until pretty close to her due date, when my mother will be here!)

I hear ya! Christmas is no time to have a baby - and that's when I'm due too - everyone is too busy with everything else! I'm hoping to make it to my inducement date on December 27th. My mom is hosting Christmas at her house in Utah this year (I'm in California), so she's not coming until after the New Year. DH's brother and wife are staying in town, so they've said they'll watch DS while all the hullabaloo goes on. Phew! I thought he was going to have to sit with his nose in the corner at the hospital. Hee, hee.

I'm feeling great. We've moved DS into sleeping in his new room in his bunk bed. I still need to move all his toys and such into the new room and all my craft stuff to the garage. ::sniff:: But such is the life of a 3 bedroom home. I think I'm 30 weeks, but I'll know for sure when I see my ticker after I post. LOL I lose track too quickly these days.

Thanks for starting this thread Teresa. Fun to read how everyone is doing. Can't wait to hear what you are having.

I am feeling really good and I am trying to get everything done while I do feel good. In order to make room for the baby, we have been moving my kids to different bedrooms which means completely repainting and redecorating. I have two bedrooms done now. I just have the baby nursery to do. I have already bought the bedding. We just need to paint. I pulled out all my baby boy clothes that have been in storage for 9 years and most everything is stained and yellow. So I have had fun shopping for new clothes too. I am trying to get everything done early because of the holiday season and because I am prone to preterm labor and usually deliver a month early.

I have another ultrasound scheduled on Nov. 5th because they didn't get all the shots of the brain or the face. I think I will feel better too if they confirm again that it is a boy. I have been a little nervous buying all this boy stuff...you always hear of those stories where they have been wrong.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm doing okay. I can't believe I'm 10.5 weeks already. I hurt my back last week and was stuck in bed for 4 days recovering. That really sucked! My OB said they see a lot of back injuries during pregnancy so I need to be really careful. All I was doing was standing up off the couch with Julian in my arms! Now I'm paranoid of hurting myself again. I'm waiting to hear from my OB about having the nuchal translucency testing in a few weeks.

Let me first start off by saying that I am NOT preggers LOL but I enjoyed reading about how you all are doing! it was always an exciting and tiring time when I was pregnant! thanks for the updates!!

I'm pretty much at that miserable stage. Moving is hard, laying down is hard, sleeping is hard, chasing Avery is hard, but I don't have any help all day so that's probably why it feels so much harder this time. I have exactly 42 days until my scheduled induction. I'm right at the point where my water broke with Avery at 35 weeks so I'm getting very nervous about having this one early. I'm trying to take it easy but it's hard with a 3 y/o and no husband to help. My doc is being very proactive this time though and I've already started my weekly checkups to make sure nothing is going on yet. I actually have an appt today. I've gained about 30 lbs which sounds like a lot but I gained 60 with Avery so I'm feeling good about not gaining as much lol...This past week I've noticed a little puffiness in my feet and hands but my BP is still good so I'm happy with that.

I am literally FULL of baby..she is completely out of room and when she moves/kicks now it can be a little uncomfortable. The other night I was sitting in DH's recliner and had my shirt pulled up watching her little acrobatics and I literally watched her push her foot straight out under my ribs...it was a little like having an alien trying to get out lol

I'm just ready to be at the end...I feel like I've been pregnant for 2 years.

Hugs Nikki!! Everytime I start to complain about being uncomfortable or tired or anything like that, I always think about how you're doing this by yourself this time!! You're amazing, chickie!! :)

I just updated on my blog (http://three-4-me.blogspot.com/), but I'll summarize here.

Just went to doctor yesterday. Am 26 weeks along, have gained 21 pounds, but it's all baby. In fact, she's measuring 29 weeks (from outside my belly). Doc wants another u/s to see how big she really is, so that will be right before Thanksgiving.

Was down with my back all week last week (Tabby, I'm right there with you). My ligament in my pelvic bone often hurts which makes it hard to walk, and then that makes my back tight all over again. Otherwise, I'm feeling good, just starting to get uncomfortable. She's a definite acrobat! All my kids are extremely active in utero, but I think she may win for most active. I don't remember the other two being this active or this strong when I was only 26 weeks.

We've got a guy working on her room over here. We're probably not painting, but we're converting our guest room to her nursery, so we've got to fix up the closet and stuff (it's behind our fireplace and holds all of our electronics that are connected on the other side of the wall/fireplace to our TV. So it's got to all be organized and make room for clothes!

I've got her bedding (I showed it off in this blog post), and am excited to start decorating, but we don't have any furniture yet! Hoping to just borrow rather than buy since this is third and last baby!

Oh Kresta, you made me feel so much better after hearing about those gaining 2 lbs and being so far along! I've gained about 18 lbs and I'm 20 weeks. But the doctor isn't concerned at all and it's not increasing, in fact, my weight gain is slowing down a little. I just don't want to get to 50, that's half my pre preggo weight!

Anyway, I'm doing great. I'm at a really good point now. I'm not too huge and uncomfortable yet, and I am not sleepy and sick. I have a little more energy and since we found out the sex, we are excited to get things going. I feel like this pregnancy is going really slow, but since I feel okay, I'm not complaining about that!

Since this is girl #3 for us, we're pretty much set as far as clothes and bedding go. So I'm just spoiling myself with little things this time around. We are redoing Kathryn and Hannah's room, but I haven't found just what I want yet--but we're going to completely change the colors and paint and everything, and I'm excited!

Oh Kresta, you made me feel so much better after hearing about those gaining 2 lbs and being so far along!

Glad I made you feel better! Yeah, I was feeling a little embarrassed after the 2 pounds, but I gained around 40 with both other kids, so at 6 months, to me, 21 pounds is okay, especially considering doctor says she's big. :)

I am doing good, finally feeling better but now my back is hurting and lower body too. I think the baby is in a weird position or something. I go to the doctor tomorrow for the all important ultrasound. Hope they can see, really excited to finally find out what this one is, I feel like I have been pregnant forever. I am not as tired as I was but it has been hard working and taking 17 credit hours of college and finding time for my husband and 2 1/2 year old. I feel like I am pulled in all directions, luckily I will be done with school in December and I will be able to take the last 9 weeks off of work, since I am a teacher's aide, and then have all summer to enjoy the new little one.

We haven't done anything to the room yet, mostly because we are sleeping in it. We only have a two bedroom house and need to move to the basement, we probably would have already been down there other than the 6 inches of water that came from the city's water pipes that ruined our finished basement in September. Now we are trying to get it redone and move our stuff down there by December to get the baby's room done and new floor in our living room. OH the stress! Hoping that hubby wins the trip he has been talking about from work to Puerto Rico in January, one last trip before the new one comes. Sorry this got so long, didn't mean to type this much. I will come back tomorrow with our news!

Oh goodness! There sure are a lot of babies growing here. I am feeling huge, though I've only gained 10lbs. I can't bend over any more. I look like a weeble when I try to get up off the couch or the bed. My hips ache and I'm just a wee bit cranky. My little one is doing good. She's moving a lot and it can hurt sometimes. She's not nearly as active as her siblings were. I hope she's a more mellow baby. I'm getting a little anxious about the holidays, since she's due 11 days before Christmas. I'm hoping to be able to make the holiday special for the older two, because we're not going anywhere this year. We normally visit my family for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but being due right between the two isn't allowing that this year. Hopefully, my family will be able to make it up around Christmas, but that's going to depend on work schedules. Gotta love family working retail during the holidays.

Glad I made you feel better! Yeah, I was feeling a little embarrassed after the 2 pounds, but I gained around 40 with both other kids, so at 6 months, to me, 21 pounds is okay, especially considering doctor says she's big. :)

I'm waiting for the day I finally just "pop". :) I'll be catching up to you ladies VERY soon!! You both are so tiny, there's no where for that baby to go! :) I should be counting those 15 lbs I gained back after the wedding last year...what a shame, work so hard just to gain it all back. We're going to need another round of The Skinny Jeans Experiment next year!

I'll pop in, even if it's not quite "fair"

My c/s is scheduled 8 days from today.

I'm so DONE being pregnant. I've not been able to bend over for weeks, I can't remember the last time I slept through the night (and I *know* at the end of next week I'll be looking back at these 2-3 hour long sleep increments as long periods - lol), and oh the waddling!

I've gained right around 25 pounds (but I definitely had extra to begin with) and have continued to go the gym throughout this pregnancy (which I would love to take full credit for - but really, it's my 4 year old's doing. he's my conscience "mom, can we PLEASE go to the gym so I can play??" - how can I say no to that?)

Our nursery *still* isn't completed, we don't have a (definite) name picked out, and just this past weekend did we get our changing table-stuff started and car-seat installed. LoL - I guess I'm MUCH more relaxed about baby-stuff this time around.
