but I like Facebook now. I think I finally understand about comments and walls. :p that confused me for the longest time. :o

of course, it's really all b/c LeeAndra showed me the beauty of the Facebook toolbar for Firefox.:thumbup:
 
what? there's a facebook toolbar for firefox? hmmm, maybe that will remind me to actually log in to facebook more often
 
i want to like facebook, but ive been a myspacer for almost 3 years now. facebook seems useless other than those weirdo games. i mean why do people wanna send me plants and want me to be a mobster?!!? :p

I block pretty much all apps (sorry, Col!) and don't play games (anymore). but I like to see people status msgs and wall comments. The Firefox toolbar makes FB much more fun.

I :wub: FB too! I still don't get the pokes, plants, etc... but I've been able to track down a few of my friends I lost touch with, so I'm grateful for that.

We totally need to make an SSD group, if there isn't one already.
 
what do groups do? I may be in some but I don't do anything with them (that I am aware of).
 
That's just all fluff stuff, Fizz. Mandy sends me lots of goofy stuff like that (she's an admitted application hooch), and I just hit 'ignore' on all of them. I don't like lots of stuff in my space, either.

It's fun to update, though, w your latest & greatest news and a nice way to share your photos & layouts with people who are nonscrappers. Heck, even for scrappers are nice, so that I can just click your name & see your stuff rather than having to hunt it down in a gallery.

It has a chat pg just like Yahoo! that's helpful, too, when you are at work and not supposed to dl any applications to your computer. *lol* I talked with Mandy and Emmy off and on today, talked w Col all yesterday, and left some fun back 'n' forth comments w Jamie & Meems the past couple days.

Just trryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it. You'll liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike it.
 
P.S. Groups are nice if you want to post sales, contests, etc. It's not particularly necessary for a place like SSD which already has a forum, but if you're logged into FB all the time, it's fun to have that info at your fingertips rather than having to come over here.

Groups are much more helpful if you're a designer with your own storefront b/c you can really get your name & product out there in a convenient fun form to your customers.

When you throw Col & me our Vegas bachelorette party, it would be great to have a FB group so we don't bog down the boards here (or in email) with info, but can host it all in our own space on FB.
 
You're not even online right now, Giz! I just checked for Online Friends, and you weren't there. Geez. :)

We SHOULD start an SSD group there, I have SSD flair already! (can't remember who gave it to me. Can you tell I have memory issues? ) but that might be a fun way to while away some down time next month.
 
Okay so apparently LeeAndra is on my list already..just need to find everyone else. In my defense, lol...It's been a few months since I've done the FB thing and couldn't remember who was there :P

You can find Colleen through my list. I imagine there are many many Colleen B.s so searching for her by name wouldn't do you much good.

I can't use the stupid chat in the toolbar because work is on IE 6. So I have it in the popup window, but apparently it keeps logging me out. Darn thing.

Oh.. and miss LA.. that does NOT prevent you from writing on my wall. :p
 
I love my toolbar too .... I believe I got the idea from LA as well on an earlier thread.

I also second Col suggestion for everyone to come be celebrities with us. It is more fun (and less frustrating) that PackRat
