dang reponsibilities...

grrrr i wanna just sit and play on here all day. but i got thing to do apparently. like, take a bath (i'm still in my jammies at noon) feed the kids (though DH went and got Hardees for breakfast, so can't that cound as an early lunch? lol) go pay my Centennial phone bill so they won't shut off my only phone, clean my kitchen, and possibly attack my mountain of laundry.

why can't i just sit here? just today? maybe if i atleast go pay the phone bill....that is important. okay, feeding the kids is important too, lol.

i'm a bad mommy!:p
 
I feel ya Corey...I was on my hands and knees all morning scrubbing down my fridge and stove and the walls behind it. Me and DH also spent a good hour using spatulas to scrap something gross and stick up off the floor that had taken up resident under the fridge!!! :thumbdown:

I haven't even had a chance to buy ANYTHING today!!!! :crying:
 
I told DH the other day that this day is for ME, lol. Usually I end up missing NSD and DSD because of work or his family decides that we have to have a family dinner or something (seriously...every time, for like the last 6 years!!), so he actually agreed to let me have the day to myself, lol.

He took the kids to the city...not sure what they're doing, but it sure is nice to listen to the radio and hang out here all day, guilt-free! :D

Ha! Nice to have company! It's two in the afternoon here... hahaha
The kid is fed though and the bills got paid, so I feel justified that I am going to do nothing but scrap today... :thumbup:
 
well, we ended up all going to town. we stopped at Old Navy and picked out some outfits for Aidan's birthday. funny thing was, DH didn't want to go in there, but he ended up picking out all the stuff! he got two pair of jeans, two zippered hoodies, a long sleeved hooded t shirt, and a pair of sweat pants. then we went to target and got him a couple small toys. then we came home and i worked on the scavenger hunt and my bingo card. now, i'm going to clean up the kitchen a little and then i won't feel so bad when im on here later tonight, lol.
 
I started shopping waaaaaaay early in the day and am now neck-deep in downloading all the goodies and hanging out here and a couple other boards :D Glad to know you got to hang out with your family and then spend some time in scrappy land :D
