J-dude broke his glasses yesterday. Unrepairable. So glad I had the warranty from walmart... However.. they don't carry the blue frames anymore. :( He has silver ones now.. same shape as his blue ones and they are really cute too though. I'll get a pic tonight.

I truly think that he could manage to break those too. He's ALL boy. LOL

You've got to love the warranty at Wal*Mart. Devin broke his first pairs (yes, multiple pairs) within the first week of getting them. If not for Wal*Mart's warranty, we'd have been up the creek without a paddle.

I use Pearle for my son and he's gone thru 3 pairs in about 6 months. That extra warranty is sooo worth it..even after 1 pair it pays for itself lol
oh bummer! I hope this new pair lasts longer

I am so wishing I had bought the extended warranty on my own glasses when I got them. Last week Kyle snapped mine in half while throwing a temper tantrum, he is all boy too lol! Luckily I found my old pair to wear until I can get new ones, but I will definitely be getting the warranty this time!
So far my girls seem to have gotten their Dad's great eyesight, but I guess time till tell since I didn't have to get glasses until like the 6th grade.

Ummmm....well I hate to share this but...my little man who is 110% boy and then some who is now 3 got glasses when he was 20 months old and we have been through 11 - yes I said 11 pairs of glasses. I wish you luck and hope that your guy is a little less rambunctious than mine!
Luckily his eye doctor where we get his glasses has a policy for children that all broken frames are covered for 2 years!!! Boy am I glad I didn't go to some place with no warranty!
Dude....I am so sorry. We are very fortunate that Kassi has been wearing hers since she was two (for five years now) and never broken them. Ok I forgot, one pair she accidentally hung in the bathroom door when she was on the way to the shower....but that was it. I'm the one who breaks glasses all the time.
Well crappola I hope maybe the next pair will last for a very long time. Frames are not as big a deal, it's those lenses that cost a stinking fortune.

Ugh Sarah, that sucks! But as long as it's just frames, it's much cheaper.
I used to be awful for breaking my glasses when I was a kid!

the warranty is on frames and lenses so as long as he stops breaking things after a year, we're good to go. lol
