I'm depressed...

accept mine cause I'm depressed for the same reason :(

**SEE, even Kenny looks sad and mournful all of a sudden!**

I'm posting many times because I love looking at Wolverine. And because it keeps me away from the election sites. DH is away, and he told me I wasn't allowed to look while he was gone, since he knew I'd probably gain 10 lbs consoling myself with ice cream. Which I can't even have, since baby doesn't like it. So double depressing.

I knew people would think that! I should have been more specific. I guess I figured it would have been obvious. But now I realize that not all people are depressed. Go figure...

I am depressed too. This saddens me in a way I can not explain. And for the record, it is not a racial thing, it is a partisan thing. I am proud to be conservative. I felt this same sense of doom when Clinton was elected. It made me want to move to Canada. It is like watching the Patriots lose the Superbowl, only my taxes didn't go up then. And i don't know what else I can say but I am really depressed.

I'm with ya Chels... I need an island far, far away right now... :(

Nothing is going to make the next 4 years feel better.

Yeah. I have to at least feel good that I voted. It counted right? lol... I'm still anxious to hear the results on an reeeeeeeeaaaally important prop here.

Yes! Your vote counted and you should be proud of that! I am proud that I was able to go out an vote today- regardless of who won.

I'm so scared for my family and my mom. It's no secret that my husband is a hunter - and we have *GASP* guns in our home. My poor mom. She's physically ill about this. I can't say I blame her.

I will say it again.
I AM TERRIFIED!!!
My stomache is making horrible noises. I want to cry. I feel like my vote meant absolutely NOTHING!

Can I feel free to pop in and offer my sincere condolences? I have stood in your place during the last two presidential elections, and I know the pain. I do believe that our new President will be healing these divides, and will be more moderate than many of you believe he will be. Please have faith (((hugs))) :)

I have to say - John McCain is one classy dude. That's the best concession speech I've heard in a VERY long time.

And yes, just like in elections before, your vote ALWAYS counts, regardless of who it was cast for. That's what makes America WONDERFUL!

I agree, that was a GREAT speech!

I'm not happy, but I'm strangely resigned. I agree McCain gave a great speech. I'm proud of him.

I think that there will be some disappointed people over the next year or so... I'm a little concerned about the "change" rhetoric... change takes a while to filter down from above. But I hope that as a country, as communitities, as families, as individuals we all continue to move forward for the next four years... we still have the power to live our lives, to live well, because this is America and it's a great nation. :)

well the democrats are seriously in charge now: the senate, the house and now our president. i can't wait to see this change they speak of. there's only one direction the finger can point now.
