I just cant do it!!!

I have been cleaning my hard drive for the re-opening of SSD....I found what I think may be the first kit I collected......RCarlton-Feels Like Home

I cant delete it.........I have to keep it.
Do you have anything you won't delete?........

On a quick note, I have cleared almost 15 GB off my hard drive.
Open! Open! OPEN!!!! Please!!!
 
I have a lot of things I refuse to delete, though not for nostalgic reasons. I use them all the time, so on the hard drive they stay!. I burned all the nostalgia kits to DVDs.
 
The only thing I ever delete are tons of freebies. The rest gets burned to dvd. I'm always afraid I'll need to use something of it.

I'm an equal opportunity deleter...hehe.
I delete almost daily.
 
My friend deletes PARTS of kits she doesn't like.

The very thought almost gives me a complete breakdown. I just KNOW one day I'll be looking at the preview and be like "now where is that _____". Even if it's the ugliest thing ever - either the whole kit goes or the whole kit stays.
 
Yep - Even though I'm a master deleter, I still have kits that are not something I'd probably even scrap with anymore that I have an attachment to :) And that's okay - you got rid of 15 G of other stuff - YAY YOU!
 
I have a couple kits I keep for sentimental reasons, even though I may never use them. Mostly though I am ruthless about it.
 
i don't delete anything but freebies. everything i buy stays on my hard drive. when i switched computers when i got my laptop, some of my CT kits didnt all get transfered from the other computer. they're still on there, i just need to get some blank cds to burn them. i'm hoping to get an external hard drive for Xmas!
 
I do have stuff like that too. I was thinking this weekend, that I needed to do a purge but I never got around to it. Maybe this week.

Either way, you cleared out 15GB! That's a flippin TON of space! LOL!
 
I cleaned out one of the three folders I have full of digi scrapping goodies and just that cleaning was around 16 GB.....I think my EHD was very happy!!! I have NEVER and will NEVER delete anything out of my SSD folder though, I *heart* them all and just can't do it.

BTW, my SSD folder is so big there is no room for it on my EHD, thus I need another one :)
 
Nah, not really.

The only things I can think of that I might be sentimental abt would be the kits Jen & Kellie made and named after me just 'cause that's cool 'n' stuff. :)
 
I'm in the same position too. My EHD is a 160gig and I already cleaned a bunch out at the beginning of the summer. I have less than 4% space left :blink: Guess it's time to ask for an early Christmas present. Need a new EHD to support my addiction....err.rrrrr...... lovely habit. :blink:
 
You could always keep the preview of the kit and not the kit itself if it's not something you think you'll ever use. That way you still have the memory of it but have freed up some space too.
 
I have a few I've kept on the HD for sentimental reasons. And the EHD has almost everything I've ever DLed because I don't bother to clean it off. It's bigger than the HD and I'm only using it for digi-supply backup, so there's plenty of room.

LOL this is how I told someone (ok, Kellie) to shop. To just d/l the preview and pretend she bought the kit.

ha ha, I delete parts too. At first I was worried that I'd be wondering where a certain element was but I told myself to remind myself that I probably deleted it. It's easier for me to delete bits than the whole thing :unsure: .
 
Oh I totally LOVED "Feels Like Home"! :) Robin was one of the very first people I CT'd for, so I have a lot of those older kits (although I did convince myself I had too many and let a few go in the last purging round). LOL One I can't let go- "Teenie Bikini". I loved the page I made with it and want to keep it for my little girl someday. :)
