I can't wait, especially with it being in NYC. Woot!!!

Last night I was letting DH know that TC was back as of tonight and that I already had the DVR set up to record it. He responded, said, "Cool, maybe I'll watch with you this season." So, he must have heard me, right? NOT!!! About an hour later he comes to me and says, "Hey hon, TC starts up again tomorrow night, do you have the DVR set?" :p :D
 
So - before we even start...picks to win? Picks to lose?

I think that the producers should pay me to pick the loser. Well, I mean the won that doesn't win TC. Every single freakin' year, my choice never wins ROFL

Last year, Richard just gave it away to Stephanie - who was extremely deserving and I'm glad she won. But good grief, I do not know how to pick'em LOLOL
 
Love Top Chef, I get into it more when the field gets narrowed down to about 12, but I love to watch! I am a Bravo Reality TV junkie!

I think Alex might do well...but he looks kinda um..immature haha so we'll see. Stefan will do well..he just looks like a chef hhaa

Ariane seems sophisticated and the show always likes a sophisticated woman

no they are friends..met in culinary school. The girl is married to a solder serving in Iraq right now. They are based here in Ga they did a little story on the news about her. Too bad she didn't last any longer.

Ariane didn't do nearly as well in this episode that I expected her to..and wow about Gene's meal..it was like a perfect Indian dish and he didn't even know what it was...that dude has skill..he tasted the dish in the market and duplicated it!

Oh and how about Richard I think it was..saying Tom was cute hahahha

(I know you can't see this right now so look for it on Saturday lol)
 
of course, the girl I pick to go far ends up being the one that SHOULD have been kicked off last night. I still think it's lame they didn't for the fact that it was a basic dish she got wrong and tried to change the name to cover it.

And of course, previews make it look like she's really struggling in the next weeks.

Gene rocked it - didn't he? He has the lights in the eyes look of someone that has been thrown into something he just doesn't know, but it's awesome that he did so well! (and wasn't it the rice dish that he tried..but it was the curds dish he got spot on?).

I know the editing wasn't real...but I love how orgasmic they had Carla being over Martha Stewart showing up next week (two different locations..so probably not the same set up).

And it looks like Leah might also be one of the big contenders along with Stefan (who, unless he lets his head blow up with pride) will probably make it to the final round.

And just so I's can say that I said it..I just wanna slap Jeff ROFL (the whole perfect hair thing :unsure:

yeah I think it was the rice dish they showed..I'm sure he tasted them all though. He has street smarts for cooking too and that's helpful!
 
yeah - I hope he does really really well!

Some of the chef's on another board I'm on were getting a bit fiesty over the fact that Richard? was preparing food with bloody hands and that Tom let it pass. They were saying even in the real world, you'd stop, take care of it, toss the food and start again, and they felt that it's what he should've done. The food would've been inedible, so it shouldn't have qualified. Then there's the argument that they were never told it was going to be eaten..blehblehbleh. And what if he would've been one of the last ones that had to prepare his....would anyone have been able to eat it? LOL
 
yeah that was kinda gross..i'm sure he was of the mentality i just have to finish....I'm sure with editing and stuff he was addressed that he was ok to continue...it was nasty though
 
I totally fell asleep in the middle of the episode last night. I was SO bummed when I woke up this morning and realized LOL.

Please - DON'T tell me who won/lost yet since I know I will be able to catch it on replay LOL
