My Christmas Tree is up lol

I'm not one to usually put mine up this early but I figured with only 19 days before baby is here I better do it while I can. My parents came over and did all the heavy stuff for me. Avery had a blast putting all the ornaments on..this year is the first year he's really excited about Christmas and it's so much fun! When I showed him his Christmas stocking he said, "wow! it's unbelievable!"...too funny! :)

Anyway, now I'm in such a Christmasy mood..he's watching The Polar Express and I'm sitting here like Jabba the Hut b/c I'm so huge looking at my pretty tree. I wish I was able to go Christmas shopping today, but my doc said to take it easy for the next 2 weeks. Soo...I guess I'll have to make do with my Sugar Cookie Yankee Candle and my tree :p
 
I want to put mine up so bad!!! lol But, we won't do it before Thanksgiving! But, you definitely have the excuse needed to do it before! LOL!!! :)
 
We are moving on December 1st. We usually put up our tree on Thanksgiving but we won't be doing that this year. The other day we cleaned out the closet where our decorations are stored. Derek was so excited, he thought we were putting our tree up. It was with great sadness that I stacked the totes in the basement. So I agree, show us some pictures. :p
 
Well, this pic doesn't really do it justice..the glare from the window doesn't help but I think it's pretty :) We just did ornaments this year..no ribbons or tinsel. You can see Avery can't keep his hands off of it already :) I have a feeling I'll be opening an "ornament ER" soon lol

YAY!! I love this time of year, I have to resist putting up my tree until after Thanksgiving, but I have already been blasting the Christmas carols :)

I love all the Sesame Street ornaments. We have a thing for Cookie Monster at my house. This is gorgeous Nikki. Now I wish I could put up my tree.

Yeah I get all nostalgic with my ornaments..most of mine are things that remind me of my childhood lol..mostly character ornmanents..which is why Avery wants to pull them off already lol
 
Such a beautiful photo...now I'm really wanting to put up ours up, but DH is the type who'd be happy to have it up on Christmas Eve and taken down on Christmas Day LOL. So I'll wait until Thanksgiving and he'll just deal with it.
 
It looks great!! If I was getting ready to have a baby soon, I would've done the same thing. One less thing you have to worry about.
 
I love it! Its super cold here today (well cold for Texas and compared to 85 yesterday) and I'm totally inspired to start Christmas crafts and decorating!
 
Oh it is gorgeous and I love your pic!!!! I am putting one of mine up tonight, hopefully will get to the others ones this next week, I hope. LOL!!
 
I've been begging hubby for 2 days now to put ours up..he says I have to wait til Thansgiving..but we compromised that i could put it up just not ON til Thanksgiving lol..I can deal with that so he promised to dig it out of the attic tomorrow after church.
 
I love Christmas!!! Our tree has been pretty bare the last 2 years and will be again with toddlers running around. All the glass orniments are up because they think they are balls, who can blame them they kind of are! I want to put ours up next week, but hubby says I have to wait till after Thanksgiving :thumbdown:
