Yay, I have my iPhone now!

Well very impulsive purchase today but DH and I got iPhones today. Now I will always have the internet with me. It's very comforting LOL.

miniant coming up:

I am very irked and somewhat baffled by Verizon though. We had a family share account with 3 lines and our contract was up in Sept 2009. Well DH and I wanted to upgrade our phones a year early. We went to the Verizon store this morning intending to buy LG Dares and we wanted to upgrade our monthly plan to a premium one. Well they said we could only upgrade ONE line. I asked over and over if there wasn't ANY way we could do 2 lines. Nope. Not with a family share plan. We would just have to wait until May to be able to upgrade both lines. I pointed out that at that point I would be so close to contract end I would hold out for an iPhone. And the salesperson was like, "yeah."

So at that point I wanted to know how much it would be to cancel our contracts and she looked it up and told me.

And then we went to the AT&T store and bought iPhones. They waived our activation fees to help lessen the blow of the cancellation fees LOL.

I just don't get it. Verizon doesn't want to sell me $200 phones and have me upgrade my plan and add 2 more years to our contract? um OK. :glare:

SO if you've gotten this far, thanks for letting me rant :p.
 
i want an iphone meems. you're making this hard for me. :mad:
i have to settle for an ipod touch.

and im too lazy to use caps.:glare:

I just upgraded this week...from a 1st edition Chocolate to Chocolate3...I love it...

i was thinking of going itouch route but I knew it would always gnaw away at me that I just didn't for the iPhone.
 
Oh you LUCKY little ducky!!!! I am so envious...I'm still stuck with my old magenta razor that I have dropped a gajillion-mc-million times, so now the battery dies after just one phone call...*sigh*

Congrats on the new phone, Mimi- I'm jealous! :) Maybe for Christmas...but I'm not sure I want to pay more $$ each month yet- so tempting, though! Have fun with your new toy!
 
Well (1) I'm excited that you got an iPhone!! :) (I must live vicariously!!) and (2) We had issues with Verizon as well so I feel for ya... long story made short, we've been fighting for over 2 years with them over money they claim we owe them (which we don't).
 
That's awesome, I have one of the older ones, but I just love it!!!! I love having music--I've downloaded a Twilight trailer to mine (I know, I'm obsessed) and now with the games and apps, it's just awesome. Oh yeah and it's a pretty good phone too...LOL

Verizon is dumb sometimes. I think they are getting too big for their "can you hear me now" britches!! LOL
 
wow looks like Verizon is pretty stupid if you ask me...but sprint is the same way and arent' they the same co. now:? I want the Sprint equiv. to an iPhone, can't remember what it's called but it looks pretty cool! LOL I'm gonna miss your ticker too, btw but I'm glad you got your prize early!
 
congrats on the iphone!! I have one, which i love!!! Especially since I can sync it with my mac, so what i ever i change on my phone, gets changed automatically on my mac, so sweet!!!
