I'm totally going to make them. I have to go to Joann's for fabric anyway, I'll just pick up the fixin's and hop to it! :)

That would be a super fun family craft :)

I think I need to wait to make these though. I have tissue paper and pin trees to make from last year. And maybe a button tree too, I haven't decided. But this won't stop me from buying the stuff for them, lol!

Yay!! I'm not sure if Joann's has the small pots, but I know that Michael's and ACMoore too.
I know Joann's has dowels for the tree trunk, felt, buttons, ribbons, paint for the pots, etc. Just not sure on the small pots.
 
I totally just saw these online somewhere! I love them! they look so easy! I have to finish up a couple other projects first though... I'm starting too many without finishing them now!
 
HA! I just saw the same thing! I'm totally hitting up Michaels tomorrow! I have some tiny tins I can alter for bases (but not ribbon, felt or buttons)
 
I just love that publication!! Those little trees are so cute!! Wish I could sew.. oh wait do they need to be sewn??? :confused: ha ha... You should give us an update when you have them done so we can see what you come up with!! So cute!! :thumbup:

Yes! Its totally happening Liz! This weekend we'll dive headfirst into crafty heaven. :) Its a plan! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
I got that email, too! I really want to make those :D Maybe not this weekend, though. I've got to work on my December Daily and a few other projects. But, maybe next weekend when I have a few days off.

I actually do that, so yes, I promise.

Seriously, I stroke an imaginary ZZTop beard when I'm thinking.... I think I've gotten an imaginary trim though because it used to be as far as my arm could reach and now it's just a couple inches. Stupid imaginary wild-west barber with the curly mustache. How jealous I am of his curly little tendrils... and that spirally thing outside his shop...

I just checked my e-mail and got the same one.....I have some little metal buckets that would be PERFECT for this and my kids would go ga ga over these so I am off to find all the stuff and see what I may need to shop for!!!
