Girl vs. boy layouts -- thoughts?

Okay, so perhaps it's because I have two boys, but I have this (probably absurd idea) that it's easier to scrap girl photos. I always feel bad that I can't use all of the girly, pink, flowery kits (I try, but it's just not the same). Do you think it's easier to scrap girl or boy layouts? .... or am I being totally ridiculous and it's really no different?
 
There's not a ton of difference for me, I don't guess. I like the pink girly stuff better and DD's LOs tend to be more detailed, but sometimes I find it easier to scrap my DS. It all depends on my mood, lol. Interesting question and I can't wait to see what others say. :)
 
Well, I have three boys and rarely have the opportunity to scrap girly so boy LOs come more naturally to me. However, I've never hesitated to plop flowers or any other girly element on my boy pages so I guess it's about the same for me when I do scrap my nieces or myself. When I do scrap girl pages I find myself wanting to put every pink thing in the kit on my pages LOL. I'm pink deprived LOL!
 
I find itr much easier to scrap my daughter then my sons and as much as I try to keep it even it is so much easier to scrap a pretty photo of my daughter smiling or doing something cute for the camera then the photos of my son trying to run from the camera LOL. I might manage to get like 1 out of 20 photos of my son actually smiling and looking at the camera without his hand blocking his face
 
I have to boys but thank god I have tons of girls from webfriends to scrap with too....

But as my boys are getting bigger I find it difficult to get great photos from them ... as jessica said, they ... esp. the big one.... run away or don't smile.... and I find it often more difficult to scrap them.... its not only because they are boys, its because they are big and big boys are harder to scrap then little ones...
 
I think because I like girly stuff, girl LO's are easier. And girly elements tend to be generic... flowers, butterflies, bows, etc... where boy elements are less so (cars, dirt, dinos etc). IDK, something definitely makes it easier for me.
 
I have 4 girls and 1 boy..and my girls are wayyyyyyyyyyy easier to scrap than my son lol...poor guy he feels deprived I'm sure!
 
boy/girl doesn't matter, just each kit individually inspiring me in that moment is the only thing that makes a difference for me.
 
I think some of it is just what you're used to. I'm used to scrapping my boys, and I'm finally branching out to girl LOs with some of these pregnancy photos. Girl LOs are hard for me! I'm curious to see how I'll feel about it in a year or so, when I've had some experience scrapping girl photos.
 
Well, I come from the opposite postion. I have 2 girls, so even if I scrap myself, it's still something girly and flowery. I definitely have boy kit envy. The grass is always greener....
 
I find it easier to scrap girl layouts right now but that's probably because it's still new to me (our daughter came home 8 months ago). Not to mention that she is 2 and sweet and mushy and my son is 5.5 and sometimes onery. LOL They also stop changing quite so much as they get older and I think we tend to not document every second like we do when they're younger.
 
I love to scrap girly photos. I always beg friends for photos (Amy Bleser and Amber can attest to that!) and while I love scrapping photos of my boys I just love the color pink and all things girly so that comes more natural to me!
 
When in doubt, and you feel the need to be 'girly', see if you can get one of them into a dress!

hmmm....for me it just depends, lol! I find it easier to scrap Ezra than Gabe too. i don't know if it is because he is younger or what....I scrap more of Stella because she is so miuch more cooperative with the pics, lol!

Do you think it's easier to scrap girls because we are girls??
 
i have two girls and a boy, but sometimes i find it easier to scrap my boy. sometimes putting all those extra girly stuff like flowers all over gets tiring, lol.
 
I'm use to my boys pages and I love them... but I'm always begging for girl pictures
And I can put together a girl page in 20 minutes... so I do think girls are easy

Weddings are the hardest
 
I have way more pages of my girls, but I don't think it's because it's easier, it's just because I have more pics of them. Rae is still home all the time, Amelia only goes to school half days, so they are around more. Add to that, Benjamin is 8, and doesn't really like having his picture taken, and it's hard to keep things balanced.
 
I have never scrapped a boy page...but for some reason it's easier to scrap my youngest. Her photos inspire me more, because she never poses and I can get the best candid shots. I am sure it won't last since she has learned to say "Cheese" everytime I pick up the camera. :)
 
I used to think girls would be easier, but then I scrapped photos of my neices and found that my method was the same regardless. And I'm with La too, I use girl stuff on boy LO's all the time!
 
I think I would rather do girl layouts! and I'm on the same with lauren that I use girly stuff for my boy layouts :p
