I can't even create a layout!

I have so much stuff on my computer I can't even create a layout!! :glare:

I keep getting the message about scandisk full, error runs...!!!

ahh its driving me crazy!

So out of curiosity how much GB of scrapbooking stuff does everyone else have??

Oh well I'm getting to work on cleaning up my computer so I can do something ;)
 
I only have 34gb! But, I purged a TON when I started using ACDSEE because I was too lazy to catch up on all that tagging, figured it was easier to start fresh. :)
 
I have well over 100GB of scrap stuff...but I keep it all on an EHD, not on my C: drive. You should check to see what programs/files you have on your C: drive, which is where the swap disk space for Photoshop is kept. If you can, you should move your scrap files/photos to a different drive/ehd.

Yeah I'm bad about keeping it all there. I'm getting ready to start cleaning everything up! :)

I can't believe you guys have 100 GB!
 
Umm...300GB+ ish? :blink: Probably much more than that if I actually figured out what I have on CD's...that's just an estimate, lol...

:blink: I'm jealous! I would love to have that much! I couldn't imagine how you keep all that organized!
 
52 gb here but I just purged oh about 40 gb worth of stuff. Mostly freebies that I wont ever use and kits I bought when I first started and my style has changed so much that I will never really use that stuff now.
 
I've got a 300GB external and a 1TB external, my HD in my computer is a 250GB and I have a 250GB in my old computer that is just sitting there...I'm going to install it in my new computer, salvage what I need off it and then reformat it and use it as a second internal HD. :thumbup: I think that should be enough storage space...maybe. ;)
 
I am working on purging now...and I just keep tossing stuff...If I haven't used it in over 6mos, I am not going to use it. I have a ton from *another scrap store* from when I started out..yeah, I just tossed it all.

Okay I think you may be covered on space for awhile... you keep buying you'll run out again! lol ;)
 
mine was doing this to me the other day. my computers hard drives are partitioned (i have a c drive and a d drive.) my c drive was full so i just transferred all my SSD stuff to my D drive and burned a bunch of older pictures onto a disk and now its working just fine. i still hope to get an EHD for christmas however, lol.
 
I have about 30GB of scrapping stuff, not including the layout files themselves. I purge regularly because I don't like having to sort through a bunch of stuff I never use to get at the stuff I wantt.

I have a 120GB EHD I use as a secondary drive for my laptop. It has all my scrapping stuff, plus my audiobooks & my photos & back ups of my music & my documents. I asked for a 1TB one for Christmas but honestly I'm only using 70GB of what I have so it is so much overkill to have 1TB. I'll probably end up with a 500GB one
 
I have about 400GB of stuff. That number includes layouts as well as kits and such. I've been doing this for almost 5½ years now though! :blink:

I've only been going for about a year now... and I just love it so I'm sure their are many years ahead! :)
 
When I got ACDSee, I started clearing out all the duplicate previews and such and I got rid of over 15 GB of space! I now have 102 GB of scrap stuff. That includes fonts, brushes, and actions although doesn't include layouts! It also doesn't include stuff I have just collected from this month.
