First off, I had to do a computer reformat so I Lost some of my ct boards MAnda..... LOL. And now for an update..

I have been so so sick! I was hoping once the first trimester was over so would be the sickness like with my past pregnancies ( I am 14 weeks 3 days today) but its only seemed to have gotten worse.

I haven't been able to keep ANYTHING down not even fluids for a couple days and I have an IV in me and have to go to the hospital daily for my fluids. On an upside we heard the baby's heartbeat with the doppler and the dr has figured out what's causing my spotting, its something to do with my hormones and migrating cells LOL I guess its normal but I had never heard of it before but he says it doesn't cause miscarriage.

I can't really type with this IV stuck in my hand, its right where it bends. I can't really do anything with it stuck in there so I've been completely useless and my husband gets to do everything for me. It took them a lot to put it in because I was so dehydrated, and of course the only place it ended up going was my right hand and I'm right handed. Just thought I would give everyone an update.

Ugh, sorry you're feeling so yucky. With my last pregnancy I had nausea and vomiting all waking hours until I was 20 weeks :( I can totally empathize with you. Hopefully it passes for you soon. I know how miserable it is.

glad the baby is ok!! sorry about the being sick part...that's the worst! hope this all goes away soon!!! oh and thanks for checking in, we've been wondering how you were! :) HUGS!!

Oh how awful about being so sick. I just don't understand why some people's bodies react so badly, and how it can even vary from pregnancy to pregnancy. I was remarkably blessed! I sure hope that they are able to get you feeling better soon. Aren't any medications helping? Zofran (I think that's what it's called)? Anything?

HUGS!

I bet it is a girl ;) My girly did that to me too .... Hyperemisis. I had IV therepy, a PICC line (because the IV's wouldn't stay) and then finally a feeding tube. Keep resting and let DH take care of you. The more you try to do before your body is ready the longer it will take to feel better. Get some rest and keep us updated

Oh hugs honey.

Just remember, being sick means the baby is doing well.

Ask the doctor for Zofran, its what I took with Keira & Cooper.

Katrina, have they not given you Diclectin yet? I took that with Rae, I lost 15 pounds I was so sick, and it was semi-helpful. It's only available in Canada, so you should ask. I hope you feel better soon.

So happy for you that everything is okay with the baby. That's terrible you are feeling so sick, no fun at all. I hope it ends quickly for you!
Nice to see you around again! :)

Oh, I totally understand. I am 27 weeks and 6 days and I still get nauseous at times. I am dealing with anemia, heartburn, preventing preeclampsia, and an active 15 month old. I agree, let DH take care of you and take it easy, it will eventually get better.

I am so glad that the baby is ok, but I am so sorry that you are still not doing well. {{hugs}} I so hope that you can get better soon!

Awww, hugs Katrina. I'm sorry you are so sick but so happy the baby is doing well! Hang in there and keep us posted!

I'm glad to hear from you!! I've thought about you a lot.. We miss you! Good news that all is well with the baby, but I'm sorry you're sooo sick. That just stinks. Feel better!!!

Hey girls thanks, We dont have Zofran in Canada. The dr gave me Diclectin but it didn't work this time around, it worked in my previous 2 pregnancies but this time I still throw up and I can't function on it all I do is sleep and lie on the couch not able to do anything. If I didn't know better I would say it was twins cause I've never felt like this during a pregnancy.
