Holy Freaking Twilight!

Ok, so Sara sent me her books and I got them last week. I finish Twilight on friday night, and then New Moon on saturday night. I started and finished Eclipse yesterday in 11 hours.

Totally. Obsessed.
(Which, I knew I would be. I get this way with books, especially good books. I can't put them down until they are finished, and especially if there's more books to follow.)

But holy COW! I just read Book 1 of Breaking Dawn, "Bella".

OH MY STINKING HECK!

I MUST stop now and do other things for the evening. I am VERY team Edward, so Book 2 being Jacob is a good a place for me to stop. But good lord Mrs. Meyers, what a cliff hanger ya left me with!

Seriously, everytime Bella got upset during New Moon, I got choked up and teary. I've never reacted THAT strongly to a character ever.

I don't know if I will go see it actually. No one here has read the books or has the desire to go with me. And I'm not much of a solo movie goer. I'll probably do like we always do, and wait for it to come out on Blue Ray in a few months, lol.

i get all hooked on books like that too! New Moon seriously had me in tears just about through the entire thing! i sort of hated that one, lol. it was so sad!!! Especially if you think of the songs she had on her site that inspired her while she was writing. Dido's "Here With Me" really spoke to me; so so sad that song is anyway. i have that song on my iPod in my car and its just so full of emotion now because of New Moon, lol.

I'm on pg 260 of Breaking Dawn and I seriously want to lock my self in a room somewhere and read the 500 remaining pages. I LOVE these books and I am and have been from the start TEAM EDWARD. :)

Corey I'm actually scared to go listen to the music! LOL! Music holds such a power over me, they will probably all make me cry, lol. New Moon was SO hard to read cuz I'm too big an Edward fan. Jacob has his place, but Bella belongs with Edward. I'm almost scared to finish the book if they don't end up together! LOL!

I read the first 3 really fast and have been on Breaking Dawn for weeks now. I think it's my fave so far, but I just can't find the time to finish it.

I just went to see the movie tonight. I was fully expecting to hate it, but I actually kinda liked it!

I finished up the series this weekend and saw the movie. Now I think I am having Bella and Edward withdrawals. I could keep reading about them forever.

I have read and reread parts of all 4 books so many times, it's not funny......I love the ending of New Moon, really didn't care that much for Eclipse (cause I'm totally team Edward!!!) but could read Twilight and Breaking Dawn over and over and over again!!!

Welcome to the Twilight cult Col! ;) I didn't read the books as fast as most people did but I can't read for more than an hour at a time no matter how good the book is, I get so tired I read the same lines over and over again. I can't wait to hear what you think of the last one! I know a lot of people didn't like it but I did.

I finished all 4 in about a month, and I thought I was ok after that. But then I saw the movie, and I started reading them again! There is no hope! But you know that Stephanie Meyer recommends reading New Moon twice!

Welcome to the dark side Col! LOL! They are absolutely addicting once you start reading them. I read Twilight in like 4 hours cause I just couldn't put it down and go to bed! I borrowed the first 3 from the library but I want to buy them all so I can re-read them (and have a matching full set for my shelf lol).

I want to read it when it is finished, not a draft. That is, if she finishes it. I did break down and read the first chapter of it on Stephenie Meyer's website and loved it. It was hard not to search the other one down and keep reading.

She actually has the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun on her web site to download!! I've read it & it is so AWESOME! Unfortunately it stops right before the meadow scene, hopefully she will finish the rest of the book someday!!

I tried reading that preview and for some reason, I couldn't get all that into it at the time.
Jacob I always loved and was really very happy with how it all tied together in the end.

Pardon me for butting in here, hehe, but it so wonderful to find other Twilighters on SSD!!

I bought the first book when it came out, read the first few chapters and then locked it away in a cabinet. When New Moon and Eclipse came out, they joined Twilight in the locked cabinet until Breaking Dawn was released in August. Once I had BD in my hands, I read all 4 books in just under 36 hours.

My grandpa took me to see the movie for my 23rd birthday the Friday came out, then my brother took me again as part of his b-day gift to me the following weekend... And you want to know the horrible thing I did? I got my 19 year old brother hooked on Twilight! LOL He read all four books in a week (He has school, so it cuts into his reading time) and now it's all he and I talk about it seems lol

I read Midnight Sun a day or so after finishing the series and I cannot wait until she finishes it.

I just finished eclipse last night. Love the whole Wedding bit at the end. I am so excited to start in on Breaking Dawn, but I am so sad at the same time cause I don't want it to end! I have never been one to sit and read a book, but I HAVE JUST LOVED THIS SERIES and hate for it to end. What book could ever top this?! I have not heard of Midnight Sun yet, so I am excited about that! At least there is hope of something else. I am also SOOOOO SAD the New Moon movie will not come out till 2010! It seems like an eternity away. I am glad Robert Pattinson will be Edward again! :thumbup:
