Karen Kingsbury books? Anyone read her stuff by chance?

My mom is a huge addict too! I just borrowed Between Sundays to start reading after I finish another book I'm reading right now. Can't wait! I've never read any of her books.

well ask your mom if Kari Baxter and Ryan Taylor ever get back together (the baxter series. If she is a true KK fan I'm sure she'll know exactly what I'm talking about! LOL)

I may never get any work done if I don't find out! It's a 13 book series and I'm on , oh, number ONE! LOL I am not one of those people that doesn't like to know how things end (I've been known to read the end of a book first) so spoilers don't bother me! LOL

She's not answering her phone right now, she might have had a chemo treatment this morning. But, as soon as she calls me back, I'll ask her! :)

lol yaaaaaaay!!! Tell your mom I am definitely going to keep reading. I just hate being in supsense, lol. I do like the details, so knowing the end of something won't keep me from reading. Tell her thankyouthankyouthankyou for me! I can actually put the book down and work now! LOL

I read the 5 books of the Redemption Series (you will find the answer to your question in that series) and the 1st book of the Firstborn Series. I really love her writing style. I could read them over & over.

Yes, I've read her work before. I find it difficult to find contemporary Christian romances that are not overdone Biblethumping lectures, so I was glad to stumble upon her books several years ago.

Have you read Michael Phillips before? And/or Judith Pella? They have some series together as well as separate. They write mostly historical Christian romances, though. Phillips has a great series abt Russia that I loved when I was in high school.

My favorite Christian romance series of all time, though, is the Fletcher Streiker trilogy by Robin Hardy. Oh my word. I checked them out, like, every other month from the library when I was in high school. If Fletcher was a real person, I would marry him in 3 seconds. Gorgeous, rich, brilliant, hilarious, Christian... gusty sigh.

Oh, and of course you can't forget the Queen of Christian Romance: Lori Wick. I wish I could be her when I grew up.

*lol* Sorry. Tangent.

I have a couple Karen books. I need to read some more. I love Lori Wick and have a ton of hers and Janette Oke. These are my favorite fiction books to read. Well actually they are the only ones I read LOL!

P.S. The Thoenes are an awesome husband-wife team. I especially enjoyed their Zion Covenant series.

Here is a list of Michael Phillips' books. He has done a lot of work with the deceased author George MacDonald's stuff, so don't be confused by his website. *lol* The series I enjoyed most were the The Secret of the Rose series (WWII Europe) and The Russians.

Here are the Streiker books. That page says my beloved Fletcher makes a cameo in another one of her books! Yes!!

I've been wanting to read some of her books. I have one I'm reading now called Gods and Kings by Lynn Austin. I like her a lot.
