A frickin' mouse!!

just ran across my kitchen floor!!! *EEK*

I am so totally creep out it's not even funny!!! I know mice are a normal nuisance in the winter but we have lived in out house for almost 3 years and I have NEVER even see an indication of a mouse...NEVER EVER...not turds... not tracks.... not chewed up things (and you can imaginge the things my kids leave laying around)!!!

Worst thing is DH isn't even here....he's out of town on business and won't be back till lat Sunday!!!

I'll not sleep the whole time because now I have a fear that mice will be crawling all over my children all night long!!! :thumbdown:

**ACK** the girl's wanted to have a camp out on their floor tonight...sure glad I didn't let them!!!! :blink:

I know exactly how you feel! We had one in our house about a year ago and when I saw that thing I called DH right away and told him to come home from work and kill it. I saw it run in the closet and so I knew exactly where it was. I stared at the closet until he came home just in case it ran somewhere else. Mice just creep me out.

Mice are awful! I will NEVER give a hard time to someone who doesn't care for the furry creatures. They give me the creeps. We had mice in house we lived in about 5 years ago and it was awful! I felt like it was a continuous war - me against the mice and I felt like I was losing! I think I must have bought a hundred traps!!!

You need my cats. They're killing machines. My neighbour loves my cats because they routinely dispose of rodents in his yard too.

I don't think you're silly at all. While I wouldn't harm a rodent as long as it doesn't come in my house, the thought of one running loose in my house makes my skin crawl.

I'm not afraid of mice, i think most are kinda cute,lol. But I do NOT like them using my house for their winter vacation home.

really? you're scared of mice? we have them. but we live right across from a big empty field so its expected. mostly now when its cold. i don't notice them in the summer. i just put some glue traps out. i checked one and there was grey fur on it so it got away, lol. i 'm going to have to get the poison so it brings it back and kills the whole nest i guess. though i feel bad. i think they are cute (but dirty, lol)

Ew, I hate mice too. We have a mice problem every winter in our garage and it drives me crazy! We use DECON on the little suckers and it wipes them out quick.

Every year when I see my first garage mouse, I then have about two weeks of mice and rat dreams and I hate it. :thumbdown:

We do not have any types of rodents here because we have three little hunters living with us. Anytime they see something moving they are after it. So far they have not killed any mice but they have killed lizards and frogs and a few palmetto bugs (YUCK!!)


oh and I learned something last night....when the cats catch a frog the frog squeals like a cat. It is an indescribeable sound though lol

I'm a wimp, too, so no ridicule here! We have one in our garage right now. I bang on the door before I even attempt to go in there.

ugh I hate mice, they are soooo annoying. We live in the country right smack in the middle of corn fields, so every year after harvest and when it begins to get cold they start coming in. They are pesky and just plain ol' nasty. Between traps and the cats, we do keep them at bay but I just can't stand them.
