Long story short. My kids spent the night at my mom's house on Saturday and when I picked them up the next day my mouth dropped and I was ticked off because my sister decided to "TRY" to give my little girl a haircut that was just like hers. :cursing: My sister is 19 and had recently got one of those very choppy haircuts that's all over the place, ya know with tons of short & long pieces everywhere. Well, the girl has no experience in haircutting to be doing that type of cut #1 and #2 a FOUR YEAR OLD doesn't need that type of cut.

So, after a horribly LONG time of letting Aubrey's bangs grow out so that I can get her hair all one length she not only now had bangs again but had a haircut that needed fixed. I was furious and when I picked the kids up my sister wasn't there.

So today, I went to my aunts house and she fixed Aubrey's hair and she ended up cutting mine and Aaron's hair. I took pictures because this was officially the second haircut the kids ever had from someone other than me or my hubby (but can't find where I put my camera :cursing: ). The kids were very very little their first haircut and it didn't go well at all they were screaming their heads off. This one went very well although they were a bit nervous but now they know that it's not a big deal.

My hair looks just like this but a tad bit shorter (like my hair is about an inch above my shoulders):

OK, end of story! :D

Wait.
What?
I'm confused.

"I was ticked off because my sister decided to "TRY" to give my sister a haircut that was just like hers."
Your sister gave your other sister a haircut?

OOOPS! I meant:

"I was ticked off because my sister decided to "TRY" to give my little girl a haircut that was just like hers." lemme go fix that! :p

Oh, I would be seriously LIVID.... I would have hit the roof!!! I wonder why family feels that they can get away with that kind of behavior??

I say sneak up to your 19 yo sister next time you see her and take a HUGE snip out of her new cute hair cut. When she freaks out, you can tell her thats how YOU felt when you saw what SHE did to your little girls hair!

Wow, she is old enough to know that cutting someone else's childs hair is definitely NOT ok. Expirement on a barbie...not your neice

You handled that a lot better than I would have.

Oh I would NOT have been happy if someone tried to cut my DD's hair w/o my permission.

but then again, it will grow back. But still. yeesh.

On the plus side, that's good that your kids aren't scared of haircuts anymore.

that would upset me! BUT I WANNA see pics :D I bet she is darling now. (not that she wasn't before)

Oh I would have totally freaked out and hunted her down if she wasn't there to strangle. And yep, I'd definitely tell her to sleep with one eye open or she may wake up bald! Yes, I agree it does grow back but what give anyone the right to even think like that nevermind follow through!

Wow, i would have been so pissed!! I don't know why people don't think its a big deal to cut a child's hair w/o the parents permission. My MIL did that once to her granddaughter before I had kids and I remember thinking, "Like Hell that'll EVER happen with my kids, you crazy woman". Seriously!

I love your cute new do but I'll tell ya, if my sis ever even thought of doing that, I'd probably strangle her...

Oh man, I'd be LIVID if someone decided to cut my daughter's hair without my knowledge! Can't wait to see the new do's on everyone, though! :)

That would be ground for never talking to my sister again....I'm serious!! That crap don't fly with me....go freaking buy a Barbie and cut her hair if you wanna act like a 5 year old!!! :cursing:

I'm sorry Megan....I can't wait to see the real picture...hurry FIND that camera!!! :D :D
