Uploading issue - strange!

When I save my low-res pages, they're at 500x500 and 125kb, but when I upload them, they shrink down to about 45kb on their own and look all grainy and blurry in my gallery. Anyone know why this would happen? I've double-checked the image sizes on my computer, and they're definitely all at 125kb. Strange!

I'm not sure about this, but maybe they need to be LESS than 125 kb? Could you try one at 100 kb and see if it's any better? Congratulations on your news!!! :)

Are you maybe clicking the "save for web" option when you save on your computer? Maybe it is compressing it further if that is what you are doing. ??

I used the 'save for web' option to optimize it at 125kb. The final saved files on my computer are about 125kb, but when I upload them here, they shrink down quite a bit.

Does the gallery automatically shrink files down or something?
