Talk to me about printers!

So, I think I need a new printer. I've had my HP 2610 All-In-One for about 3 years and it's served me well. However, I don't feel like the photo quality is as good as it could be AND I'm getting the itch to do some Hybrid stuff, so I need something that prints great quality. I'm not too concerned about price, as long as it's not more than $300. I'd like it to scan and copy as well. Any suggestions?

I'm no help, Laura, but me, too, me, too! I just can't seem to get my HP to align correctly with Vista - drives me bonkers - and the quality has never been that great. Hoping some helpful ladies will chime in with suggestions on which works with the least headaches, Canon or Epson?

I have an Epson R340 (no longer make it I don't think) and I love it. No scanning or copying though, so I'm not much help :p

I do love it though and haven't had a single problem with it in 3 years.

I have a Canon i9100 and I love it because it prints 13x19. It is about 5 years old and I need to do maintenance on it before I print every time so I think it needs a print head but I'm willing to get a new one because other than that I've never had a problem with it. No scanning/copy capabilities though.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R220, I've had it about 3 years or so and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, lol. It's just a regular format printer (8.5" wide), but I don't really need anything bigger than that. It has a cool feature on it that it prints directly onto CD's as well - I bought it BECAUSE of that feature and have never used it, lmao.

I wouldn't recommend getting an all-in-one, though...because once you do, if something goes wrong with one and you have to take it in to get fixed, you can't use the other things either. KWIM? I've always avoided them for exactly that reason...

I have the Epson RX595, which is an all-in-one. This is the first Epson printer I've ever own and I have to say I'm really impressed with it. I'd definitely recommend it and the price was really reasonable too.

Thanks for the suggestions girls! I'll be checking the printers out too, cuz my Canon Pixma MP780 died a couple of months ago and I've just been printer-less.

I have an Epson RX500 (which I think is an older version of what Lynette has), but it is an all-in-one and I love it. I use it to print out my scrapbook pages and I have used it quite a bit to scan in negatives of older photos. The ink cartridges go pretty far too...I can print out a lot of pages before I run out of ink.
