Such a sad day, it seems my ehd has passed on... of course its been a while since I have backed anything up (always on that to-do list) so I lost sooo much. Thank heavens I never put photos or layouts on it... so nothing lost was priceless. Still I am very sad :(

Oh sorry to hear about that! It is always on my to do list too and I really need to just do it! Hope tomorrow is better for you!
 
Yet another reminder of why I need to back-up stuff. Where can I do it online again?? I really need to get a DVD burner ... do those ever go on sale?

With all these episodes of this happening I'm really starting to worry. I have ALL of my scrapping stuff on mine, and I only have a CD burner which is basically useless!

I'm so sorry about your EHD ... here is my moment of silence since I've been babbling.

It was always on my to-do list too, so I got Mozy.
$5 a month is cheap for peace of mind.

I learned my lesson about not backing up timely a few months ago with my work computer - I nearly lost my mind along with the hard drive and several months worth of data. Yet still I'm bad about doing it on a regular basis...

I'm trying one last time to get mine to boot up - I got a new one today and want to transfer everything over (rather than getting it all off of disks - wish me luck)...
 
eeks.. already lived through the passing of ehd. I promptly got mozy and love the piece of mind it gives me to see my 90 GB of stuff backed up LOL

RIP Dani's ehd.. you'll be missed

So sorry to hear about your EHD Dani!! :( Thank goodness you didn't lose photos or layouts though! The rest is replaceable!
