zomg, This Photographer...

so pretty.. though, I have to admit.. some of the pics look almost *too* perfect and freak me out a lil (haha don't throw anything at me!)

well i like perfect. :) those settings that the photos are in! the clothes those children are wearing!!! OMGAH!!! all of it! stunning!!!

Simply stunning!! i'm jealous of her mad skillz. how are her pictures so crisp and clear?? she is obviously using something better than my 8mp Canon Rebel XT. she must have an upgrade....

Probably insane lenses Mandy.

Her work is gorgeous.

PS~I aspire too. In like 10 years when we've got a bunch of lil ones, I want to be able to stay at home and do that. :)

Sigh.... some days I get lucky and get a "good" shot. Then I see sites like this from people who are actually talented and realize my "good" shots are probably the ones that they throw away. Then I'm sad, lol!

She's amazing! I can't even believe how gorgeous all those children are (and the adults)... its like supermodels having mini-supermodel babies, lol!

wow, I want to know how she makes them look all glowy! Amazing! I bet she has an awesome camera and some mad photoshop skills!

The photos are amazing but the clothing seems impractical and not natural, like these aren't realy families but just people put together to get a gorgeous photo.

Don't get me wrong I thing the photos are stunning, but I like to see a variety from a photographer that screams real life. I mean we aren't all perfect and would like to see ordinary people, clothes, etc in the shots. To me you can make any photo gorgeous so show me what you got through your photos and not just the people in the photos. KWIM?

Holy. Crap.

She is truly amazing - I absolutely love*love*love the shot of the family on the sofa in front of the mountains. That's just breathtaking.

Wow.

Wowzers! Those are absolutely gorgeous.

I have wondered how they get images so sharp (on my own little quest here to be a photographer) and we know megapixels is not all there is to it. I have a killer 70-200mm lens with vibration reduction and I can get some sharp ones with the tripod but they don't pop like that. I think what we're seeing is a combo of awesome lenses, excellent light use, depth of field (like how the subject is in proportion to the background) and some major post processing in adobe lightroom. I do believe lightroom is the secret on some of these sites - I've visited a bunch like this and noticed some presets I recognized. Aha! LOL. Also one of the tricks to the eyes is to use the dodge (or burn, whichever one makes it lighter) brush on the eyes. Got that from Andrea Burns' blog.

I picked up two really great books lately that I personally would recommend to any aspiring photographer. All things light can make or break a photograph in my opinion. I think you girls might like these two books:

Don't listen to me. I'm just a wanna be. Read the books LOL

Wowwwwwwwww...those are amazing, but a little too perfect for my taste. Even though they're gorgeous, it almost makes them fake...kwim? Still, totally jealous of her talent.

I'm glad someone said this, even though I love the pictures. The photos are amazing, but I sit there and think ... would I want pictures of my kids in those clothes? They look like they are modeling for The Children's Place or some other clothing store. (TCP always seems to do layers and layers of clothes in their ads) We don't dress like that, and I thought ... man, do people dress like that everyday somewhere and we're total fuddy-duddies here? So, I'm glad someone said something about that. (I also thought ... will they love these pictures looking back a few years or a decade from now? What happened to timeless photos? I like those too.)

BUT, I'm thinking she didn't dress them, so I don't blame her. I do think she does a fabulous job in getting some really artistic pages. There is so much I want to learn about being a great photographer, and I think you can learn so much just by browsing sites like these!

Thanks to another pp who linked to some books. I don't have a Rebel, but I do have a camera that I think is pretty awesome (Canon Powershot S5 IS) and I hope that I can learn some stuff to improve my own work! :)

perfect!

I agree, just (too) perfect. But Rn´t we looking for perfection?

Now the angry part: OMG! These kids look like Brangelina´s babies!!!!!! Frekin´ perfect!
