Some of you know that I put off ordering my Christmas cards until last week. Kinda last minute, but not a huge deal. I ordered from Vistaprint and paid $25.19 for FedEx Rush shipping. :blink: We've been gone all day today and I fully expected them to be here when we got home so I could start addressing them tonight. Nope. :glare: So I track them and get this:

Left at front door. Package delivered to recipient address - release authorized

Ummmmmmm...how about nope??? Not here. DH was home with the kids all Friday evening/night. Nothing. I called FedEx just now and the snippy little lady said, "We'll leave a message with the driver so he can try to find where he left them and then try to redeliver to you." What??? Try??? REdeliever??? I'm livid. I'm beside myself. I don't get this mad often, but I'm ready to go tonight. These are my Christmas Cards!!!!!!

What am I going to do????
 
that stinks! do you have another door? Sometimes I have packages delivered to our side door rather than our front door.

I hope your cards turn up soon!
 
you don't wanna know how many calls I got for this exact thing when I worked CS for FedEx. The CS agent can't promise redelivery for today, because if the truck is no where near you, they will not come back today. And chances are, the CS agent isn't near you either, might not even be in the same state, let alone same country (I am in Canada and received inbound calls from US customers only).
Like Mimi said, check any other entrances, behind bushes ... go next door. The drivers were notorious for not leaving it at the front/main door.

Sorry that they weren't waiting for you when you got home.
 
Oh that completely sucks Jennifer!!! I would be so mad too!! And yes, check any other door - lots of times they leave packages at our back door instead of the front door.
 
I agree...check around..once we found our package in the bushes! That does majorly stink though...I am getting worried b/c I ordered mine like 2 weeks ago, and the delivery date keeps getting pushed back.:unsure:
 
oooh i'd be mad too! i really hope they find them. but if they left them with someone else, why did they accept the package if it wasn't theirs??
 
Not outside, not at any other doors or the garage, not in the bushes, not with either of our immediate neighbors. I don't get it. Where are they? I mean, obviously they're somewhere. The address is correct, so why didn't the person they were delivered to call FedEx or drop them on the porch or something??? Aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.

If they don't show up soon, I would call Vistaprint and see if they can reprint them and get them shipped out to you overnight - no cost to you. I used to work for a print company and there was many times that we had to do this and then we would make the claim with Fed-Ex.
 
I'm so sorry! I had a similar thing happen with UPS last week. The tracking claims my package was delivered to my porch, and ummm it's no where to be found. Very frustrating. The company I ordered from is sending a new one. Hopefully Vista will do that for you! And do it fast!
 
That TOTALLY stinks!!! What ever happened to UPS having you have to SIGN for packages??? They used to do that and should go back to that! Not leave the package setting out where anyone could pick it up! We had that happen with some of my medical supplies- rubber gloves and catheters of all things! LOL. No where to be found and none of the usual neighbors got them. I SO hope your cards are found soon. Yes they should reimburse you for them as well as the postage!
