What's up with Santa??

SO much for him being a Jolly ole soul. He barely spoke to my kids tonight, didn't ask them what they wanted for Xmas nor did we get even a single HO-HO-HO! What a bummer. I mean for $25 you'd think he could be a little bit merry.

bad santa! - unfortunately we've had experiences with less than jolly santa's too - it's not a job for the easily aggrevated or crabby, but those ppl seem to put on the red suit anyway - there mustn't be adequate personality screening!

What a bummer!!! I'd be mad! The one we saw talked to each of my kids individually - even pulled my 16 yr old down on his lap and spent a few minutes talking to him!

Kaden's Santa was that way this yr...I mean the picture of him and Santa looks like he is taking his mug shot! haha

That stinks...you totally have to be into it to take on that role....

BTW, I TOTALLY want to do that when I retire...I think it would be so fun!

That's the way the Santa at the mall usually is here too. We usually go to him and get pictures every year, but he is pretty much there just for the photo op, not to really interact with the kids, which is disappointing.

This year the Yacht Club (which we're members of) had a family breakfast and visit with Santa. Most families saw Santa first, then ate. We were hungry, so we ate first and then went to see Santa. I think our kids may have been the last to see him and he was awesome! So friendly, and he really interacted with the kids. Plus, to me he even looked like a better Santa. Here's a picture:

We've come across those type of Santas before. My complaint is the quality of the Santa Photos at our mall. They are expensive and normally the colors are hideous but this year the colors were good but they photo turned out blurry. UGH!
