Looking for Font or Alpha

Those of you who responded to my teaching my little girl to read thread, thank you for all your great advice! I'm hoping to make up flashcards of the alphabet in upper and lower to help us pretty soon... but here's my trouble! I can't find a font that has letters like what a child would print! All of them have an 'a' with that little top on it, and lots of other issues as well. Does anyone know if a font that prints a's like a child would learn to write? Or an alpha that will do? I know lots of handwriting fonts are great that way, so maybe that's the direction I need to head? Advice please!!

Century Gothic... DUH! How did I not see that?
I'm very pleased not to have to buy something. :) Thanks everyone!

Make sure the "I" and "J" have hats on them....this is an issue I found once Nathan was learning in school...that some of our at home materials didn't have them on it! :)

I would check with your school district with what printing method they use. Ours uses one that does not have hats. LOL!

Check to see if you should be teaching in Zaner Bloser or D'nealian. Lot's are switching to D'nealian. This tells about it.

If you need resources, I can help. :)

I live in Ontario, and while I have heard there are several different printing types that students can learn , I haven't been able to find anything on our local school board's websites. Do you think if I called the school they would have any clue what I'm talking about? Or should I just ask a parent who has kids in grade 1?

I'd ask a teacher. I'm sure one would be happy to let you know.
