Ugh, I'm going to KILL this mouse!

So the other day I thought I'd pick up a new cordless mouse for my laptop. Since the one I had the usb plug in cover falls off all the time and it disconnects from time to time. Anyhow, so I picked up this microsoft one and I seriously want to embed it into the living room wall. I'm am definitely returning it, its that bad. It freezes on me and I have seriously turned the power/reset button about 10 times in the last 30 minutes. Anyone have any good recommendations? The old one had little buttons I could click to go forward and back on the internet. I loved that feature. This one does not have it(which is part of my frustration). I didn't realize how much I used it until I didn't have it. Anyhow, got any good recs?
 
lol I was afraid to open yer post.. I was like ohh no poor mouse!

anyway.. I have no suggestions. I had a wireless mouse and it was a pos. I just use my tablet now lol.
 
I use a logictech trackball. Totally awesome and worth the 40 or so dollars. They have a cordless one and the buttons are programmable although I have never progbrammed it
 
well if I'd kept going... this is mine. I see now that they also have it in PINK, which they didnt' have when I bought this. Punks.
 
Thanks everyone! I think my first clue to the crappiness of this mouse was the microsoft label. I don't think they know how to make anything quality!
 
lol, the one I got is pink! DH made fun of me, but I told him it was so he wouldn't get confused which is his or mine(but I really just like pink....) :)
 
hee hee.. can I say at first I thought you were referring to a REAL mouse.. sorry you're mouse is causing you problems!
 
i have used the same microsoft trackball one for years and love it. i don't like the ones with ball under your fingers, lol. its starting to act up on me, but i can't complain since i've had it forever. its time for a new one!
