So, I think I mentioned that I got a Crock Pot for Christmas (yes, it was on my list lol). Anyway, I put a pot roast in this morning with all the good stuff... potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, garlic, seasonings... OMG! It smells SOOOOOOO freakin' good right now! I'm starving and the smell is pure torture! I can't wait for 6:00 tonight!!!!

mmm that sounds good now, we haven't had roast in quite awhile! I'm doing chili in the crockpot today, but I probably won't start it until lunchtime. I'm sure in a few hours I'll be going crazy too when it's starts smelling yummy!

Sounds yummy!! I really have to start making more use of my crockpot. Maybe I need to search for some yummy recipes to motivate me.

crock Pots rock!! i have been using mine more and more. there is a website with lots of recipes just for crock pots. there are probably lots, but i've found yummy stuff on this site.

My chili is starting to smell SO good & now I'm absolutely starving! Dinner time can't come soon enough here!

Sadly, we got 3 crockpots for our wedding (7.29.06) and the only thing I have used it for is for keeping pulled bbq chicken warm... Annnnnd thats been a total of MAYBE 3 times!!! I just don't know what to put in it or anything like that... I will definately have to look on that website!!!

A Year of CrockPotting

Here is another great blog for crock pot recipes, Stephanie tried a different recipe in her crock pot every single day of 2008! What's nice is she tells whether the recipe was a hit or a miss with her family, makes it kind of easier to know whether or not it's something you want to try yourself. I plan on trying quite a few of the ones she's posted.

I love my crockpot. However, I have made two new recipes this week with it that were not that great. Ok, but not that great.
However, it is awesome to "roast" a whole chicken in. YUM!

Oh lordy, I made a pot roast yesterday; the smell drove me nuts, lol. It turned out so yummy, was so worth the wait.
Used mushroom soup, dry onion soup, potatoes, onions, carrots and tossed in a bit of celery. It was soooo worth the wait, lol.
I book marked that link this time Corey, ty.
