I have too much (s)crap. :blink:

He bought a new 40" tv a few weeks ago for the bedroom. With the new tv came a new tv stand (because he's insane about stuff like that). We got a gorgeous one that matches the bedroom furniture set I eventually hope to buy.

Now the only problem with this, is that I had scrap stuff in the old tv stand. It didn't look like much, so I wasn't too worried about it. Until I had to clear it out. :huh:

Omg. It's a LOT of stuff. And it's currently piled on top of, and around my craft space, making it impossible to do anything. And I have stuff I REALLY want to do! But I sooooo don't want to reorganize my scrap stuff for the 9403894032th time in a year. :thumbdown:

::sigh:: Jordan always says I have more (s)crap in this corner of the bedroom than he has in the entire house. I'm starting to think he's right. Oh, and this is even after I donated 2 huge baskets of stuff to a silent auction for my animal shelter! :o

I guess I should start cleaning then, huh? :glare:

Oh Col LOL I am the same way. I never realise how much I have until it smacks me in the head. I have a REALLY hard time getting rid of anything, its sad realy lol! I never paper scrapped so thats not an issue here but baby clothes OMG I have every stitch from oth boys and the only reason I am lacking girl clothes is cause there was a really good cause to give them up or they would all be here too LOL

LMFAO Fizz!!!

It's actually going pretty well so far. I switched some stuff from boxes into metal bins from the new tv stand that Jordan didn't want over there. So that's definitely helping reorganize.
I should be able to rearrange some things and make it look like nothing more was even added to this corner over here. :)
 
I'm too scared to have evidence of the excess (s)crap for Jordan to find! (IE a picture).

And yes, it's possible to have too much. I honest to goodness have more paper and paper packs than I will EVER be able to use up. EVER!
 
I actually have a buffet that was my Memere's. It is huge with 2 cupboards and three drawers. And it has all my scrap stuff in it. I organize it, the DH throws his junk in it. Then I pile it on his desk. Then he puts it in my buffet. Then I pile it on his desk.... IT IS MY FRIGGIN BUFFET!!!!!!!!

Omg Heather, that would drive me insane!!! LOL! Thankfully, Jordan doesn't have much stuff and the stuff he does have stays far far away from my scrap area, lol.
 
I feel ya girl. :( We have a guy coming out to measure several of our rooms for flooring and all I can think is there are little piles of stuff everywhere- paperwork on the counter, clothes I need to hang up on he dresser, piles of shoes on the floor in my kids' rooms... why do I care about the floor measure dude seeing them I don't know... but I need to get this all cleaned up for sure. Yuck!
 
In case anyone is wondering, I'm totally conceding this battle to Jordan. He wins.

I went to clear out the top shelf of some wall shelving, thinking I just had to move some things around. ALL of the various boxes and bins and alter-able items had stuff inside!! I thought they were all empty!!! :blink: :cursing:
