Friday night my computer went on the fritz. After online tech assistance from Dell,it became apparent the mother board had fried,lol. I can laugh because it has a full three year warranty, complete with tech service that comes to my place,lol.
I am learning to use my new laptop. Thing is, i miss my pse and not just because i'm in the digi race with Sara; it's because i can't install it on this because i keep getting error messages that cause it to cease it's installation :mad:
I took my pse for granted,that it'd just be there for me, like a good friend, whenever I needed it. And now it's not there. I'm sorry PSE, i will never take you for granted again and will be a better friend,lol. You'll be back soon I know, but until then, know you are missed :p

LOL, I hear ya!! My motherboard went on my Dell a year or so ago (still under warranty as well) and I was SO lost without my computer - I only have one, lol! I was almost CRAZY by the time I got it fixed...a week later.

I'd be like..."oh I should call so-and-so" and then realize that their phone number is in my contact list ON MY COMPUTER. Or be like "I should look up..." oh wait, I have no internet because I have no computer. Augh!! LOL!

Wonder if it's a dell thing as my classroom one went the same way the day after I got it.

I hear ya!

I had to re-install PSE on my desktop after the HD crashed and was replaced...however, because it wasn't properly UNinstalled...it's not working...the s/n has been used before (duh...by me on the same computer!)

I'm still waiting to hear back from Adobe on how to remedy this...I shouldn't have to buy an entirely new copy IMO. Although if that's their answer, then I'll just d/l the trial of 7.0 and use it for a month...then it'll be time for my birthday and DH said he'd buy me 7.0 if I needed it.
