It's true, it's true!

I'm so excited that we are doing P365 here! I read somewhere that doing this project would make you change the way you look at your life/world...and I thought to myself...Erm...Okaaaaaaaay...whatever. But it's true! Everyday Tab and I banter back and forth as things happen..."that'll be my photo for today!" as the kids do funny things, etc. But yesterday we were trying to organize the cabinets after going grocery shopping (BOO!! I do not like grocery shopping). And I was stacking the cups up in the baby's food cabinet and saw the beauty in the potential photo. Soo cheesy, I know. But an otherwise loathsome task...and I did look at it differently! That's all! Here's the one I am talking about:

Perfect photo!!!

Where you are getting your veggies in those little containers? I need them for Rhett!

At Wal-Mart (the ONLY place to shop where we live...there or IGA where it's like $6 for a gallon of milk!)

Anyway...they are Wal-Mart brand and are like $1.70 for a four pack. Parker INSISTS on eating table food. Ate baby food for about 2 days before he realized that we were eating "real food". So we now spend a great deal of time and energy trying to find him table food that a flipping 7 month old can eat. HAHA! So we have these for when the prepared meal isn't baby friendly.

Hmmm...now I'm going to have to check if my Walmart carries those in their brand!!! I really struggle getting "fruit" into G-man (the boy can only eat so many banana's and so much apple sauce!! :D) and that one looks like a peaches and pear mix!?!?

we buy corn, green beans, peas and carrots from the veggie aisle....

the fruit you see is applesauce on the far left, then mixed fruit, and mandarin oranges on the far right. I'm pretty sure those are all Motts brand but yeah, got those at WM too :)

Oh my!!! I also need to head to walmart!!! I haven't seen these yet and Hayden refuses to eat baby food... She will crawl to whoever has a plate with food on it and beg!! Poor thing... Lol, my dad claims that I never feed her! Hah! Shes a lil piggy when she gets her bottles or table food!! I love the photo Lena!!

Pretty picture :)

I am sat here at 9PM in my pyjamas, it's pitch black outside and freezing and I am trying to think of something to take a picture of. I am finding it harder when I'm at work to get decent and interesting pictures. Yesterdays was my can of diet coke but there are only so many pictures a girl needs of her drink :p

Yeah, he loves them warmed up. I heat it for 15 seconds, them dump out the liquid and give him the contents spilled out on the tray of his high chair...he goes to town. the boy should have great fine motor skills because he'll chase down a slippery pea for 10 minutes if he has to. LOL!

THIS is why we started this:

It all began at Christmas. He had been on baby food for a bit, and he just helped himself to my stepmom's plate while sitting at the table with her:

He was SO proud of himself.

Here he was just a week later as well, helping himself to David's plate out at a restaurant (I always travel with camera...I didn't care who thought it was odd I was photographing in a restaurant)

So yeah, I just gave up then on baby food. He obviously has better taste than that.

Rhett is the same way. He won't even eat the baby food meals that you can get in a box. Has to be what we are eating, or something similar. And surprisingly he likes somewhat spicy food. I usually open a large can of green beans, peas, black beans, whatever and he'll eat on them for a couple of days. But these little containers are perfect for traveling!

Getting him to eat meat however is proving to be quite a challenge....

Now I just need to find a WM near me that has a grocery store in it. Ours sucks....
