How Cold is it?

It is so cold here in Upstate NY that my Blazer is frozen up and will not start, turn over or anything!:( I'm going to have to call in to work and that's not a good thing....

It is -19F here....What is the temperature where you live?

While we don't have the super frigid temps you guys up there have, it's 17 in Dallas right now, which is pretty darned cold for us!
 
It's -22 celcius here with a windchill of -30 (& going to get a bit colder throughout the day), which is about -8F with a windchill of -22F.
 
Don't throw anything at me...43 degrees...seriously I am freezing though. This Florida native cannot handle cold at all.
 
Right now it is 7 degrees with the wind though it feels like -7. I'm glad they canceled school today because I would have froze my butt off.
 
OMG...dh got up to start his truck and it's -36 here in VT. I am not sure I remember it ever getting down this low. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
 
Where are you in Upstate NY? I :wub: NY, I miss it so much sometimes!!

I can't complain, we're currently at 12F according to forecastfox. Thank goodness Jordan decided to take the new car into work today though. I got to use the heated seats and boy was that nice :)
 
It's about 16 degrees here...wind chill is supposedly about 5. However, our house is less then half a block south of the lake, and with the wind whipping right off the water, I think it's even colder than that on my street LOL.

The dog will definitely have to do without his walk this morning.


So much for global warming, huh?
 
I'll try not to rub it in that up here in these parts of Canada are warmer than all of you! (well, most anyways)
It's not even 8am here, and it's 32*F (0*C) and supposed to 44*F (7*C) over the weekend.
Really, I'll be quiet now. hehehee
 
Here it's 12 degrees F with a "real feel" of -14. Not as cold as some of you are suffering through, but cold for us! Normally I miss living in the Northeast, but not today. Today Virginia seems plenty far north.
 
I'm with Sonja...I won't tell you guys that it's unseasonably warm here this week: 3*C right now (about 37*F) and it's supposed to warm up more - the sun isn't even out yet, lol.
 
It's currently 5 degrees, about -15 with the windchill, it's snowing, the roads suck, parts of the highway are closed, and yes the kids are in school. LOL
 
12 with a windchill of 2! with snow...which I did not know was coming! Not a lot of snow...but enough to make Kansas City crawl...which doesn't take much. lol

I've cancelled "school related activities" today (I feel oh so powerful being the teacher!) ... so we're staying home in the nice warm house and playing with the LEGO Mindstorms Robot in an effort to learn it's programming language...oh did that sound like school? oh no...I mean play with LEGOS...hee hee hee
 
It's been pretty nice here. Highs in the 50s and 60s, definitely not normal for this time of year. I have to keep reminding myself that it really is January. :D
 
High of 35 today with a really nasty gray inversion that is supposed to last a week plus. I guess I will take it over you other ladies' negative temps though =)

Cold enough to turn my can of mountain dew into a Slurpee In a Can. :p

It's currently 1.2°F. Windchill: -14°. Day two of what has become a five day weekend for the hooligans.
 
It's 0 right now but feels like -13 degrees. But when we got up at 7:30AM it was like -15 and felt like -25 degrees.

Let's put it this way it's cold enough that my oldestt DD went out side and was blowing bubbles they all froze within like 5 seconds!!! :blink:
