I just got back from In N Out and my fries were *perfectly* cooked. Mmmmmm! I loooove when my fries are really soft... almost soggy. lol What do you like?
 
Depends on where the fries are from!

McDonalds - between crisp and soft
Wendy's - soft
potatoe patch fries from kennywood - soft!!!
Out to eat somewhere - firm
on my Primante's Brother's sandwich - soggy!

Hehehe....
 
Hot and crispy! So that when you bite into them they almost burn your tongue? Oh and LOTS of salt! I'm so going to be in trouble when I'm older and have to worry about blood pressure...
 
I like mine crispy. When they're soft I have to choke them down. And also, I like them to have no salt on them - haaate salt.

My favorite are Sweet Potato fries from a local restaurant. They are hot and crunchy on the outside and just the right amount of soft on the inside.
 
OMG I looooooove soggy fries with lots of salt... I may need to brave the sub-zero temps to make a mad dash for Wendy's.... mmmmmmmm fries and a frosty!
 
From In-N-Out, I always ask for fries well done. I can't stand their fries if they are soggy. BLEH!
 
I like them slightly crispy on the outside with a nice soft inside and no salt! Salt is bad, bad, bad.
 
I absolutely detest the crispy critters! Love soft, but not soggy, fries. My favorites are the ones from Penn Station with the skins still on 'em - mmmmmmm. Ok now I'm hungry. :(

I love swweet potatoe fries. The ones I crave are round not strips. And they are just crispy enough on the outside..... mmmm I am hungry.

Oh, sweet potato fries are the best! I've never seen them in a restaurant though.

And definitely I prefer crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Soggy fries brings up memories of the high school cafeteria...their fries were sopping with grease.:eek:
 
I'm a fan of both extremes, its funny. I'll pick through the box of fries to pull out the really limp ones and also those super-fried little bits... mmmmmm I love McD's fries

i like mine in between, super duper burn your tongue hot and plenty of salt!!
 
The best sweet potatoe fries I ever had were cut like super thin and were like onion straws/strings. OMG sooooooooooooo good!!

I love to make sweet potatoe fries at home, they're just SO hard to cut. So I'm not making them again until I get a mandoline and can cut them with ease :)
 
I didn't vote....I like tater tots, onion rings, seasoned curly fries, or WAFFLE cut fries...but generally not regular fries... lol
