Peanut Butter Recall

Oy vey! We didn't have anything on that list, but I made DH toss all the PB products in the house when I first heard about the salmonella outbreak. I'm gald my kids aren't huge PB fans.
 
No commercial products that you would buy off the shelves, being peanut butter itself, i.e. Jif, Skippy,etc, were involved. It's peanut butter that's used in commercial applications, like at schools or in making cookies (for instance, Keebler). At least that's what I've been led to believe.
I'm surprised really to just now see this popping up on the board as the report came out a few days ago.
 
Ugh, this is such a hassle for us here at school! Any snacks we have kept in the health office or classrooms have to be tossed if they are in the recall as well as any of the affected foods in our lounge vending machine.

And I'm sure the Food Services people are pull their hair out!!
 
i do not see them on the list but i want to make sure that reeces peanut butter cups are ok. i bought some and have been eating them and i don't feel great, but i think that is because i am just exhausted.
