Help a girl out...again, please!

DH has decided that he wants my lappy and I can get a new one. Can't afford a Mac. And he wants me to find THE BEST DEAL on one. I currently have a Toshiba Satellite that I :wub: but it only has an 110 gig hard drive and 1 gig of ram running Vista. I want something faster and with at least a 250 gig HD. And I use PSE7.

My Dell has a 320 gig hard drive and 4gig of Ram, and a 17" screen and it's PINK and I paid around $800 something for it. Not sure how much you want to spend.

I just bought a HP dv4-1220us at Office Max for 549(regularly 749 with 200 off) last night. It has 4GB RAM, but only 250GB HD. I use EHD, for my pics and stuff...

I am just setting it up and will load PS on it tonight. So far, so good. I will load PS CS3 and see how many windows I can have open at the same time.

Kathi, I loved my Toshiba Satellite too I currently have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC that runs 3 gigs of RAM and a 100 MB hd (i know you need larger, but I'm just illustrating what I have and what I paid.) Mine runs super fast for me and I paid $598 at Wal-Mart

I have my blue 17" Dell (cause Des was mean and wouldn't let me get pink), 160GB HD and 3GB memory, running Vista. I love it, just wish we had gotten a bigger HD. You don't wanna know what we paid for it (it cost as much as my 41" TV did, over a year ago). lol
