i'm going back to school and it's just too much house. while i'm in the nursing program i won't be working so my lack of income changes our financial situation.

honestly, we could swing it but it would be hell on earth.

so bye bye amazing neighbors and cul-de-sac. we're praying for something cheaper and still in a cul-de-sac. i think we can do it.
 
Aww, well you might be leaving a home but you're going to have a great future ahead of you! I've moved about 10 times in the past 10 years and I just think of each move as a big adventure.
I'm sorry it sucks but you're gonna be a GREAT nurse.

Gorgeous house, it's huge! Sorry you have to sell it, it's better to play it safe in this economy though. Never know if it'll throw you a curve ball. I wish someone would buy ours but there's too many of the same style around here. I need to look into those loan modification thingies.
 
Um could you pack it up and ship it east? Its gorgeous! I'm sorry you have to sell it. But its worth it not to stress like crazy! Especially if you'll be in school too. Sending lots of sell for lots and lots of moohla vibes!
 
If i had an extra half million dollars and a desire to be butt cold 3/4 of the year, I'd totally buy your house. Sorry you're having to sell it. :(

It's gorgeous Lizzy, so sorry you're having to sell it :( I think my whole house could fit in just your entry way lol!

My step-sister and her husband lived in Longmont for a couple of years and had a really nice house there and ended up having to move back to Kansas a few years ago cause they just couldn't afford it. Things in Kansas are just much cheaper I guess!
 
Sorry you have to sell it Lizzy...Just remember the house and possessions aren't what make where you live a HOME :) You can create new memories and enjoy life with your family no matter where you live :) Good luck!
 
I can only dream of having half that house ... it's beautiful Lizzy! Sorry you have to sell, but I am sure you will find something that you love just as much!

We are currently looking for a new place to rent, but there is NOTHING for rent around here that we all fit into (4 bedroom rentals are hard to come by anywhere!). We can't even think about purchasing for another 2-3 years (thanks to a huge truck payment every month that equals what a mortgage payment would be a month!).
 
Fizz, if I could sell mine and move to CO, I'd buy your house in a heartbeat! I love, love, love your kitchen!!!! Unfortunately DH's retirement would not go with us so we are stuck here for 25 more years...........

I hope you find a buyer for full price quickly!!!
 
thanks for all the love ladies. it just feels so unreal. i think when it's all said and done and i don't have to fret about school or police academy i will be a-ok. plus...it's true. i could live anywhere and make it home. for sure!
 
your house is awesome and I am not showing my husband because he would move us all to CO in a sec.

Nursing school isn't so bad....I have three more semesters before I am done. Everything will all work out in the end.
 
It's a gorgeous house and I'm sorry you have to sell it. But I'm sure you'll make your new place a nice home, too. I bet your time in school will fly by and soon you'll be working again and posting pictures of another amazing house you're about to buy!
