Have any of you done this as a study at your church? We're looking into getting it started for the younger marrieds (and couples). There's a whole series for study that comes with the DVD, workbooks, etc. Wanted some thoughts if any of you have/are thinking of doing this.

Thanks! :)

We did it at our church! It doesn't have the full DVD, just like 6 or 7 clips. It was really good! Lots of class participation which we really enjoyed! I definitely recommend it!!! Our pastor is our Sunday School teacher & he had all of us do the "Love Dare" along w/it & that was great too!

ETA: Oh, and we didn't get the work books, he just typed out the outline so we didn't have to pay for the books. We're a small new church & every little bit of money saved helps! LOL

You know, I think it's a study that spans more than just the young couples. We haven't done the study as a church, but many of our members have been doing it in accountability groups and are loving it.

we are going to see the movie tonight at church. i am not sure if they are doing the study or not because it isn't the normal church we go to. we are actually in the transition of finding a new church :( we just don't feel like we are getting anything out of the church we are attending right now and it is hard to go when you aren't being fed :(

I really want to see this movie, so glad it is being released this Tues! I've heard wonderful things about it!

I def. think this could span the entire church, not just the younger couples. We're trying to develop a new "group" (not Sunday School class--we already have that) that would get more people our age involved in things outside of the worship hour. We hope this may be a good thing to do. The entire kit is VERY expensive, especially because you have to buy the license to show the movie to so many people, but the plan is that after our group uses it, our minister will begin circulating it among the other "groups" in the church. Does that make sense?

Deb, DH and I are doing The Love Dare right now on our own. We're hoping that after we finish the series at church, we can move into having the group do the Love Dare. :)

I haven't seen it yet...I plan on picking it up this week so DH and I can watch it together when he's home next weekend. I can't wait to see it!
