Ok well maybe it's only exciting for me but I finished these gloves for Patrick today, which are only my 3rd knitting project ever and they have cabling and circular needles and all kinds of crap so I was so happy that I got through them! (don't mind the photo, it's allso my 365 photo and I decided I needed a self portrait today after 25 days of pics of not me..LOL!)

Oh my word, woman...I can't believe that is only you're third project. You are gonna be one of the greats!!! They look perfect and LOVE that photo.

Laura - I told patrick I could never have an etsy store because each glove took me like 8 hours...they would be expeeeeeeeeensive!!
 
Wow, they look great! I used to be really into knitting, but I haven't done it in awhile...I couldn't really make anything besides scarves though, ha.
 
thats awesome traci! i have tried to knit and have only been able to do scarves. anything else drives me crazy! too much to think about. i get distracted easy :)

Ya know,i really admire ya,girl,lol. I hate peope tho who can just pick up stuff this well as soon as they pick up a knitting needle :p (kidding).Best i could ever do were dish rags,lol.

Those look great! I'm thinking they'd be hard to give away. (Oh, I said these were for you? No, you must have misunderstood...LOL)

I'm finishing up a couple pair of felted mittens for two of my kids right now...maybe a Mommy project should be next. ;) What pattern did you use? I made a neck warmer a couple years ago that had cables in it & I thought the cables were pretty fun.
 
well...duh! I OBVIOUSLY meant light gray...really, do you have time to be correcting me here...shouldn't you have started mine already????

Yep...totally freakin' awesome Traci! I'm so impressed...you really have no idea. I've tried to knit since I was a little girl. I can't do anything but cast on!
 
Wow!! I totally think I need a pair of those!! I get so cold at work that I have to go run my hands under hot water to warm them up. Gloves without the fingertips would be so helpful!!

And I totally agree that the photo is awesome! I love the perspective and you have beautiful eyes!
